Your Go-to Fixed Oil
If you could only choose 2 and I do mean TWO fixed oils as your go to mediums, what are they and WHY have you chosen them? You CANNOT choose Jojoba (as thats an easy choice), nor can you choose an oil blend such as Trauma (Arnica, Calendula, St.Johns Wort combo) oil.
Your Go-to Fixed Oil
Yes! That is it!!
Thanks Vicki, i will have to look for a source for the kukuiii Oil. It sounds like something that would work fir me.
Your hair is an extension of your nervous system
With thanks to @Ewa Skabek who shared the following post on Fb that prompted this post. https://www.facebook.com/groups/708603999996081/posts/2160679508121849 See photo 1. Same thing happens with an earthquake. Mother Nature's "nervous system" giving off electrical charges as she has her hissy fit and re-sets it! Oh, and another reason why Native American's were exempt from having their hair cut when they joined the military many decades ago..... they regarded their hair as their antenae. "Hair is an extension of the nervous system, it can be correctly seen as exteriorized nerves, a type of highly evolved ‘feelers’ or ‘antennae’ that transmit vast amounts of important information to the brain stem, the limbic system, and the neocortex." from the link below. Worth the read, as it explains the tests the American Military did on Native American Scouts during the Vietnam War. https://thehairshaman.com/symbolism/native-americans/the-truth-about-hair-and-why-indians-would-keep-their-hair-long/?fbclid=IwY2xjawSsbQlleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETBORzZYY1ZxUmJZemZQZkJ3c3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHrk9kc-wJRgWccd-LT9mIUCEt0AqOVWsseDmzjli7JVE9TWd2GO0hSrWSiR-_aem_B7w3wU-RkCXz_0Ye54CjsQ#:~:text=So%20the%20document%20recommended%20that,trackers%20keep%20their%20hair%20long So, do you have long or short hair? Do you realise adding product and hair dye suppresses your "external nervous system? Did you know the only place your actual nervous system is directly exposed to external influences, is in your nose? Hence the reason some people can "smell" an impending thunder/lightening storm.
And yes, i can smell a rainstorm coming. I love that smell. There is a story over here about a little girl who recovered from a serious illness. A storm was coming and she said to her mom: that is the way Jesus smelled when he held me when I was sick! Gives me goosebumps!
There have been earthquakes in the last week all up the California coast to Alaska. There was one i Hawaii and the phillipines. And a mild one here in Mo where we had a huge one 110 years ago They have had tsanami warnings out but so far we have been spared. And you know about the 100,000 missing in Venzuela! So terribly sad!
Capsacian
I have osteoporosis. I have mild scoliosis, together make a lovely setup for lower back pain. Due to kidney issues, nsaids are not an option. So i have discovered a lidocaine/lavender rollon that really helps. But Capsacian patches are the best. I can wear them two days on, two days off. Pain is greatly lessened. I tried using tumeric and it helped, but I was adding it it soups and stews. My dental hygienist had a terrible time removing the stain. So i am buying capsules from now on!! What do you use for pain?
I will try it tomorrow. Doing laundry kills me and that is my job for today!
Kevin and Barbara Kunz confirm Reflexology affects the brain!!
Had to share!! Brain Scan Research Confirms Reflexology Affects Multiple Areas of the Brain Dr. Stefan Posse, a researcher at the University of New Mexico, presented groundbreaking functional MRI (fMRI) findings on the “Neural Pathways of Applied Reflexology” at the International Society for Medical Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) Annual Meeting in Cape Town on May 12, 2026. The research maps brain activity during foot reflexology to understand what happens in the brain in real time while reflexology was being applied and neurological impact in patients with stroke. Advanced MRI technology was used. What They Found in Healthy People Scans revealed distinctly different activation patterns for different reflex areas. Importantly, the brain responses weren’t limited to just the foot area of the brain — multiple regions were activated. One area that consistently responded was the supramarginal gyrus, a part of the brain packed with “mirror neurons,” which are linked to empathy, learning, and body awareness. For the first time showed reflexology technique applied to different reflexology reflex areas activates different areas and networks of the brain in healthy controls and stroke patients. What They Found in Stroke Patients In people who had suffered a stroke, the brain activation looked different — more one-sided — and varied depending on whether the left or right foot was worked. Following the application of reflex stimuli, patients demonstrated increased two-point discrimination and improved sensorimotor function in their hemiplegic hands. Who Is Behind the Research The team is led by Dr. Posse and includes well-known reflexology educators Barbara and Kevin Kunz, graduate student Arthur Schoen, and researchers from the University of Minnesota. What Comes Next The team is now expanding the study to better understand the timing of brain responses during reflexology and to identify exactly which brain networks are involved in stroke recovery. In short: this research is building scientific evidence that reflexology creates specific, measurable responses in the brain — and may play a meaningful role in stroke rehabilitation.
@Jane Lawson i don’t think they will shut it down, they will just treat it like they do acupuncture-it is one if those weird things from Asia!! I loved it when they developed the microscope that “saw” the meridians that the accupuncturist use. I bet their hair was on fire.
Anatomical Evidence of Acupuncture Meridians in the Human Extracellular Matrix: Results from a Macroscopic and Microscopic Interdisciplinary Multicentre Study on Human Corpses https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6448339/ This gives me joy!!
Something a little different!
Last night I went to a Sir Tom Jones gig in Gloucester. Besides singing many of his famous songs, he also sang this one which always makes me well up. Had to wipe away a couple of tears. What song gets you all emotional?
Something a little different!
Unfortunately, this band is now defunct. One of the members died. I keep waiting for it to regroup. I loved their music.
@Jane Lawson Yes, the USS Nimitz (CVN-68) is scheduled to be decommissioned, but the timeline has been delayed. The Navy extended its active service to March 2027to maintain the legally mandated 11-carrier fleet due to delays with its replacement, the USS John F. Kennedy. [1, 2] The Navy originally slated the world's oldest active nuclear-powered aircraft carrier for retirement in 2026. It has since concluded its final major deployments in the Pacific, shifted its homeport from Washington to Virginia, and is undergoing industrial planning for its eventual inactivation. [1, 2, 3]
