It's FriYAY! Time for a little This or That: Shopping Edition
It's Friday, and what a week it's been! Let's have a little fun and get to know one another a little bit better. Shopping Edition 🛍️ - Online or in-store? - Impulse buy or research first? - Brand name or generic? - Shopping alone or with friends? - Window shop or buy something? - Thrift store or retail? - Amazon or support local?

In store mostly, but sometimes I can only get it online. Research. Generic mostly, except for medicinal herbs, and a few other things. Shop alone. I have such a limited time window in town that I am a woman on a mission. Online window shopping is an entirely different story! We have a great thrift store that supports our local hospice service. Always local. Then big retail online. Maaaby one item per year from the big A.

@Olivia Radcliffe definitely some great homemade goods here. I have an awesome list system to hit 7 stops in 3 hours. I adapted it from wellness Mama's grocery system.
FriYAY! This or That - Summer Edition
It’s Friday! Let’s have some fun and get to learn a bit more about each other. Summer Edition - Beach or pool? - Flip-flops or barefoot? - Watermelon or pineapple? - Popsicles or ice cream? - Fireworks or bonfire? - Lemonade or iced tea? - S’mores or skip the mess?

Beach!!! Barefoot for sure. Both! Ice cream. Tiki torches? Lemonade. Skip the mess. We do BBQ oysters sometimes, and the other side of my family cooks crab on the beach. Not anywhere near the same as s'mores, but it is something I associate with family beach time.
Community Update! Watch this BEFORE 4/18
Hi all! A bit ago I mentioned that there are some changes coming to the community, so here's a quick video (8 mins if you put it on 1.7x speed) going over the changes and some of my behind-the-scenes thinking as to why these changes are happening. Key Points: 1. Premium tier price is increasing to $27/month on 4/18 2. Premium members now get a live monthly workshop 3. The AI Support Squad is getting a MAJOR makeover + rebrand and will be available in the VIP tier 4. VIP tier is getting an overhaul and will now include Voxer/Whatsapp access + 1:1 game plan calls, and the price is DECREASING to $97/month for now ‼️ IF YOU ARE A CURRENT PREMIUM MEMBER: You are grandfathered in at your current price and get to KEEP access to the AI Support Squad when it's released. If you're not a current premium member but join premium before 4/18 - same thing. You get grandfathered in at $12/month and get to keep access to the AI Support Squad. Click here to adjust plans Watch the video and let me know if you have any questions! 😊

@Jennifer Criego I got confused at first also...
What would you do? 🤔
Have you ever just wanted to pause the world for a minute? Not escape it, necessarily. Just... stop the clock long enough to catch your breath. Catch up. Rest. Play. Be creative. Without EVERYTHING ELSE piling up while you do. I'm in the middle of a good book right now (The Astral Library by Kate Quinn), and there's a room in it where time stands still. You walk in, spend as long as you need, and when you walk out, everything is exactly as you left it. One of the characters uses it to work in - he brings his workload for the day, takes however long he wants, and then walks out and it's still bright and early in the morning and he goes and sells everything he just finished working on. Nobody waiting. No catching up required. It has piqued my interest, to say the least! 👉 What would you do if you had access to that room? Would you.... - sleep? - catch up on your watch/reading list? - learn a new skill? - work through your to-do list? - sit still and take a moment to breathe? - all of the above? 😜 Tell me! Let your imagination go - what would you do? Rest, work, create, or something else entirely? Drop it below!

@Elaine Clark that is a good question! I would definitely have to bring snacks.

I would use it for work, creative efforts, and emotional rest. It would take my brain a while to get used to the idea that I am not giving up time for other things. I think I would sleep a lot better for a while. I do wonder if it would reset my level of expectations from myself. This question opened several thoughts about how I work and what pressure I put on myself.
Happy Easter! 🪺🐇🐣
I’m in the midst of cooking our Easter meal (and potentially causing electrical fires…but that’s a story for another time…😅), but just wanted to pop in quickly and wish everyone a happy Easter and a wonderful, calm, joyous, relaxing Sunday 🫶
