My total 90 day reset: content + AI + mindset - who's in?
So I want to share some thoughts about how I will be approaching my content and value creation for the next 90 days as an experiment, why am I doing it and what's my hypothesis. TLDR: I am resetting my content strategy and if you want to join me for the next 90 day, vote below and if we have enough people we can do it together starting May 1! Where is it coming from: - I found myself in the OVER optimizing loop with AI when it comes to content lately and I don't like how it feels. Once I get an idea, instead of just raw posting it, I run it though claude and finetune it and then record, which is OK but my energy is off by then. I could literally just taken out my camera and recorded in 2 min. - I just watched this interview with Alex Hormozi (min: 6-21) where in the very beginning he talks about how "social" media has become "interest" media, meaning that views and metrics do not matter, but what matters is creating specific and valuable content for your ideal customers/audience and they should want to "save" your content because it's so valuable. Example: my lowest viewed videos brought in most members into this community and into my newsletter and Alex shares a similar example. Which really made me understand that I am optimizing for the wrong things and the time spent editing, tweaking etc could have been rather spent on creating more valuable content. These are the things I'm leaning into for the next 90 days: - Time-to-Value - I am optimizing for sharing my ideas, knowledge; and showing value (literally recording my screen how I do things with AI and making mini-series of it) vs getting stuck and editing, overthinking metrics and over engineering scripts. - After 90 days I will evaluate and then I can spend some time optimizing for what performs best etc. - I intent to spend absolute minimum time on social media, max 15 min for research + 15 min pockets a day to reply to comments, questions etc. - I will continue repurpose my own long-form content into carousels with Claude, non-cringe linkedin posts so I can up the quantity of the content I produce without compromising the quality. - Instead of spreading myself thin for the next 90 days I will only focus on Youtube, IG and Linkedin. - I will post every single day on IG (batch), twice a week on YouTube and once a week on Linked in. - I will simplify all my content Claude skills to more lean into my voice and less on "frameworks" because most frameworks that are out there are created for "social" media, not "interest" media so they are optimizing for wrong things.

I'm doing one of these for myself already but I'm keen to see your process and jump in and have some extra accountability too!
20 Ways to Stop Burning Through Your Claude Credits
Grateful to @Nils Davis for starting a separate thread on that - I want to create a consolidated version here based on some research, best practice and trial and error on how to optimize your Claude usage so you don't run out of tokens. So if you've been hitting your usage limits, here are some tips to try out and to keep in mind. Quick context: a token is roughly one word. Every time you send a message, Claude re-reads your entire conversation from the top. So message 1 is cheap. For message 30 Claude is re-reading 29 previous exchanges before it even looks at your new question. That's why your credits disappear. 1. Convert files to markdown before you upload them. A single PDF page costs 1,500 to 3,000 tokens. Screenshots can be 1,300 tokens each. If you upload the same 15-page PDF to 4 different chats, that's 180,000+ tokens gone on one document. Open a Google Doc, paste the text you need, download as .md. Markdown is the love language of LLMs. 2. Use Sonnet for everyday work. Save Opus for the heavy stuff. Opus burns tokens 5x faster than Sonnet. Grammar checks, brainstorming, reformatting, short answers. Sonnet handles all of it at a fraction of the cost. If the task takes Claude less than 30 seconds to answer, it doesn't need Opus. Switch before you start. It takes 2 clicks. 3. Turn off extended thinking when you don't need it. Extended thinking burns through your allowance way faster than you'd expect. It's extra steps, extra outputs, extra compute. If you're not working on something genuinely complex, turn it off. 4. New task = new chat. Every message in a thread carries the full conversation history. A 20-message session burns roughly 105,000 tokens. A 30-message session? 232,000. If you went from writing a LinkedIn post to drafting a client proposal in the same chat, Claude is still re-reading the LinkedIn stuff every time it thinks about your proposal. 5. Be specific from your very first message. "Summarize this document" followed by "actually just the financial risks in section 3" is two expensive messages when it could've been one. Tell Claude exactly where to look and what to do. The more specific you are, the fewer tokens you burn.

Oh my gosh, this is so helpful, thank you!
How I set up Claude to find me media opportunities
Happy Friday everyone! 🎉 I really want to share something I discovered very recently that I think a lot of you will find useful. If you're building a personal brand, if you're a startup founder, or really anyone who wants more media exposure - like getting quoted in magazines, getting interviewed by journalists, that kind of thing - this one's for you. And if you provide PR or marketing services to clients, even better. There's this platform called Featured (I have no affiliation to it) that I recently heard someone speaking about on a podcast. It's basically a marketplace that connects journalists (people writing for Forbes, Business Insider, some other big publications, smaller publications, blogs, substacks too) with experts who can provide quotes and insights on specific topics. So instead of waiting for a publication to magically find you (which is how most people think it works), you can actually pitch yourself. You filter by your niche, find relevant requests, and respond and if selected you get in touch with the journalist. AND I also used this as an excuse to show how I set up a scheduled task in Claude Cowork - so instead of me manually checking the platform every week, Claude goes in every Friday, finds the best opportunities for my brand, prioritizes them, and even drafts first responses for each one. And if you've connected Notion or Gmail, you can have it send the brief straight there. I hear your feedback on wanting to see more practical use cases in Claude Cowork, so I decided to record a short video walking through the whole thing - the platform, how to use it, and how to automate the process, so Claude does most of it for you. Check it out and let me know what you think! Have you used Featured before or something similar or have any other non-obvious tips to get exposure? Please share 🫶 Let me know if you have any questions! Enjoy your weekend! ✌️
