Using AI to illustrate
Hi there! I’m so excited to be here! Thank you for having me! I have a quick question: Because of very limited finances, the only way I can publish my books is if I use AI to illustrate them myself. I know many people are against that. If I had any other option I would take it. Either I use AI or I can’t publish. Period. I’d like to know if I’m still welcome here based on that. I’ve encountered harsh criticism for going the AI route. I’d just like to know where I stand. Is anyone else using AI to illustrate? Hoping I can still be part of this group!!

I am using AI for illustrations but I spend a lot of time to get just the right illustration and then I edit it, after. I've had a lot of good comments in reviews on the illustrations I've used. It might take quite a few tries to get what I'm looking for but it's worth it because I have control over the result. I don't have to wait for someone else to do them and, of course, it's free. I am so far happy with the results. Let me know if we can't be in this group if we use AI illustrations because I'll have to leave.
