"AIMA launches Brexit form for Permanent Residency applications"
From The Portugal News: Upon entering the website, British citizens can select the BREXIT option from the available materials. British citizens and their families, with a Temporary Residence certificate and beneficiaries of the Withdrawal Agreement in Portugal, can schedule an appointment to apply for Permanent Residency. To obtain Permanent Residency, the beneficiary of the Withdrawal Agreement must have "legal and continuous residence," as well as "obtained and regular resources," according to the agency's Instagram post. AIMA also says that for the application to be considered, all documents that "best suit the particular situation" must be submitted. The agency also states that "forms that do not fall within the scope of the aforementioned requirements will not be considered," namely, proof of "legal and continuous residence" and proof of "resources obtained and in good standing."
