Capcut
I just noticed I left the Captcut logo at the end of a few of my Amazon videos. Is that frowned upon ?

@Lorah McCorriston thank you! I’m now deleting them. 🤩
Time for some Real Talk.
I know I posted the commission changes last night, so I hope you all had a chance to feel your feelings, maybe have a little cry about it, vent to your husband, your friend, your dog… whatever you needed to do. And now- we move on. Because naturally, I’ve spent the last 24+ hours doing what I always do when something like this happens… I went down the rabbit hole. I watched a ton of videos, listened to other creators (including a lot of the ones we all follow), and really thought long and hard about what this actually means for us moving forward. And here’s where I’ve landed… I still do NOT think this is the end of the Amazon Influencer Program. Not even close. Yes- on-site commissions got cut. And yes, that sucks. I’m not going to sugar-coat that. But when you actually zoom out and look at the numbers, we’re really talking about a 1–2% difference. That’s it. Onsite commission percentages were never very high. And if you’ve been around long enough, you know this isn’t the first time. A few years ago, commissions were sitting around 4–8%. Then they dropped to 2–4% and guess what- people continued to make really good $$. Now we’re sitting around 0.5–3%. So yes- it’s lower. But this isn’t some shocking, apocalyptic collapse. And what this really does is force us to get more intentional. If we’re being honest, there was a period of time where people were making money a little too easily—on products they didn’t own, content they didn’t really create , and just low-effort uploads. Which sucks in the short term for those of us who have been authentically growing while also reaping the benefits but it also creates more space for people who are actually willing to do this properly. That’s us and really- everything we’ve been doing in this group was already building toward this. More focus on product research. More focus on choosing the right products. Leaning into Creator Connections. And not relying on just one stream of income. If you’ve been here since January and actually following the weekly challenge, you know this was structured intentionally and the goal has always been multiple income streams from 1 video.
Time for some Real Talk.

Not backing down-I’ve got too much to gain by moving forward. Thank you for always being straight up and honest ! Integrity goes a long way in my book!
🥲
So they finally released the new commission rates and there is no denying that this is sad. I personally tend to have a lot of content in the outdoor lawn and garden and pets section so slightly less affected than a lot of the other categories. But I mean this is over 50% decrease in a majority of categories and inevitably absolutely will have an impact on people's commissions. Now I don't think this is the end of the influencer program, but I do think that this further confirms the need to branch out. I think that this is a clear indication that we really do need to make sure that we are getting our videos onto YouTube, if nothing else so that we have more leverage so that we can get the free products for the Creator connection campaigns because they are suddenly just shy of essential. So up until now YouTube has been a secondary thought. A nice bonus if you will, but I but think it would be wise for all of us to move it up in our priority list. We won't know the full impact of this for probably at least a month or so until we have a little bit more data to analyze, but it will inevitably hit the on-site program relatively hard. Just wanting to provide full transparency as always, of course, none of this is within my control. We are all at the mercy of Amazon's decisions and all that we can do is take what we know and make the most informed decisions that we can moving forward. I'm curious how everyone's commissions have been in the last month since they got rid of Halo sales? Have you noticed a big drop? I personally have definitely had some exceptionally low days but overall at the end of the month for March, things came together fairly well. I still hit my four figures. April has been toying with my emotions lol had a few incredibly low days and almost a week with no Creator connections but then the last 4 days have been feeling more normal. So I guess we will see what the rest of April brings. How are you guys feeling about these changes?

Oh boy- as a new new beginner, should I focus my time on another income stream solely? Or keep pushing forward with AI program?

@Lorah McCorriston thank you so much for the great insight! Monday- Friday is a little hard for me due to the 9-5 but I’m going to get a calendar 🗓️ like it was said on the webinar yesterday and plan out my visit days. I’m definitely not giving up! This is my retirement plan!
Quick heads up for tomorrow 👇 Webinar Link Below
So as some of you already know - I’m hosting a live webinar Monday from 12:30–1:30 PM PST with a top Amazon Influencer coach Claire and if you’ve been feeling at all unsure, stuck, or slow lately… you’ll want to be there. I know we’ve got a mix in here right now: - some of you are showing up daily and putting in the work - some of you started but aren’t seeing results yet - and some of you haven’t fully jumped in All of that is normal — especially this time of year. But this is also the phase where most people either: 👉 start figuring it out 👉 or quietly fall off So we’re going to talk about what’s actually going on right now and what really matters moving forward. We’re covering: - the recent Amazon changes (and if they actually matter) - why the beginning feels slow (and what’s normal) - what starts to move the needle once you shift into strategy - what good products actually look like vs time-wasters - buying vs requesting + Creator Connections - content that actually converts - platforms, brand deals, and more And I’m specifically going to have her walk through what her early days looked like so you can see where you’re at in the process. There will also hopefully be time for live Q&A, so bring your questions. 👉 Zoom link: Password is 186672 If you want to take a look at her course before you hop on as well- here is the link! We will be discussing it as well. If you’ve been in your head about this at all -come to this. It’ll either confirm you’re on the right track… or show you exactly what to adjust.

I’ll be there !
🚨Free Amazon Influencer Training on Monday: Here's What To Expext!
Hey everyone, I want to give you a heads up about something you’re going to want to be at live 👇 This Monday, April 13th from 12:30–1:30 PM PST, I’m hosting a free webinar with a highly sought-after Amazon Influencer coach - Data Coach Claire- and we’re having a real, no-fluff conversation about all the changes on Amazon and what’s actually working right now. And honestly… this is the timing for it. With all the recent changes inside the Amazon Influencer Program (recording updates, commission shifts, etc.), I know a lot of you are wondering: - Is this still worth it? - Am I wasting my time? - What should I actually be focusing on right now? - We’re opening the webinar by addressing exactly that- so you can walk in feeling clear, not second-guessing everything. From there, we’re getting into: - What’s actually moving the needle right now (and what’s not) - The biggest mistakes that are slowing people down - What high-converting videos actually look like - Tips on How to approach product research once you move past “random items” - When it makes sense to buy products vs. request them - Brand deals, pricing, and when to start - Which platforms are actually worth your time (and which aren’t) And you’ll also have the chance to ask your own questions live. If you’ve been feeling stuck, inconsistent, or just unsure what direction to go in next — this will give you clarity and a plan. 👉 Mark your calendar and show up live or if you can't make it, feel free to message me any burning questions you have and if there is time, I will sneak them in. This is one of those things that could genuinely shift how you approach this moving forward. If you want more info on her program- you can check out out here! Build Past 1k with the AIP course. Currently she is registering people for her June cohort. Lorah
