As an encouragement to others who are overthinking their review videos - they need to be perfect, no ummms, look good, clean house, perfect words - here’s some encouragement. Today I recorded a quick video for a brand deal with zero makeup & unbrushed hair plopped on top of my head after being confined to my couch for 5 1/2 days with a back injury. I put in a few minutes of research to make sure I could speak confidently, but I definitely didn’t speak perfectly. And guess what? It’ll still make me money. And it’ll definitely make me more money than going several more days not making it or never making it at all. ...it's really fine 😅 Just make the video!

Would anyone care to share link ms to a couple of their fav reviews just to help inspire me? This process was a little longer than I expected and I'm neurodivergent so I'm having trouble getting motivated again. Ways to track, equipment, backgrounds, scripts and other ideas are so welcome too!

Now, the pep talk. Bear with me because I have a few things to say. I will never and have never pretended to be the most knowledgeable person in the Amazon Influencer program. I am Canadian, which automatically puts me at a bit of a disadvantage because I cannot take advantage of free products and some of the perks available to US creators. What I am is annoyingly optimistic, consistently showing up, and genuinely invested in helping people move forward. I have been lurking in this world for over two years- watching videos, reading every Facebook post, being a fly on the wall - and I have invested a lot of time and money into my own journey through courses and groups. I do not have to be the smartest person in the room to run a community like this, I just have to know more than the person I am helping, and I have to show up. That is what I do. One thing I have noticed inside a lot of Amazon Influencer spaces is that there is a gap between information and action. People have the information, but they still get frozen because they do not have a clear route forward. That is the gap I am trying to fill here, especially for beginners. If you have questions, if you are stuck, if you just need someone to help you take the next step, or talk you off a ledge of frustration- that is what this group is for, and that is what I am here for. Claire is not a beginner coach. She is an advanced Amazon coach, and she is not going to walk you through how to upload your first review. That is what my classrooms are for.
