Arpeggios
Good morning gypsy jazz friends. I’m currently learning arpeggios, but I don’t know how to apply them in, for example, “Bossa Dorado.” Do you solo using arpeggios in a tune like “Bossa Dorado”?

Arpeggios and scales (and chromatisms/enclosures) provide you a framework to solo with the idea of outlining changes. scales give you a lot of notes, arpeggios less and chord tones even less. So you can definitely use arpeggios for any tune, and in gypsy it's a typical way to improvise. Now building a proper vocabulary is the tricky part (for me at least), you can learn note for note solos, do transcriptions, incorporate typical fragment licks but in the end, I think the more important part is heavy listening of the genre
Practice tip
Hello Skool members! Something that I do a lot (and I know the musicians I grew up admiring do this too), is transcribing. Sometimes at blazing tempos it's hard to tell what they are playing, but nowadays can slow it down in YouTube! It's easy (And Free!), check out the photos to figure out how.

I use transpose too for quick youtube stuff, but nothing like the software called "transcribe ", used it for years... And you can also sync audio in guitar pro and slow down there

actually If someone needs badly a transcription, feel free to reach out, I enjoy doing them

sounds close enough and a bit easier to play with the A note on the B string (that is, at 10th fret) and omitting the E string
