Thanks for sharing about this! I also forwarded it to my daughter as she loves listening to Shane and Shane.
Tuesday Tip
Give yourself a few minutes of quiet space to notice what's going on inside. Grab a piece of paper and a pen. Say a prayer like "God, what do You want me to know?" Draw a box. What comes up for you?

When I drew a box on a piece of paper today- God said you are creating quietness. When I asked Him what that meant He said I see your heart intention to draw close to Me and to hear from Me. Drawing the box creates expectation for you to hear from Me. This reminded me to live today with an expectant heart to hear from God.

Sifting Season
As I asked the Lord what to share with you, He spoke these words to my heart. Take them for yourself if you also feel the waves of a sifting season. It’s a sifting season. Sifting removes the unwanted items from the wanted. I’m praying for you to be strengthened in the sifting. You can intentionally spend time with Me to sift through things. There will also be circumstances that are part of the sifting process. Sit with Me to see what is revealed. Remember, you are in Christ, so there is no condemnation. What is revealed is all to make you more like Jesus, to bring Me more glory, and you more peace. It feels like a stormy season. Remember, I made you for this. You are a lighthouse, firmly planted, rooted and grounded in Me and My love so the storms only move you if you let them. You can focus on the storm and feel you are being tossed on the waves. You can also keep your eyes on Me and My promises and weather the storm in safety. You will feel the waves hit you, but they will not move you. 3 Not only so, but we[a] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Romans 5:3-5

Thank you for sharing! When I asked God what a sifting season means to me I saw a picture of His hands holding back the water and allowing only streams to come through. He showed me that He sees the storm. He is with me and I can trust Him to guide me through.
