What don't you know about Growth Boost?
Let's talk. One thing I didn't realise is this: Mindy was testing with having the slider (image attached ) to 70% to see if anything would happen. This happened: 🙍‍♀️ X amount of members joined during the time I had the slider to 70% 🙅‍♀️ I went and put the slider to 30% again after 2 weeks, seeing no difference 💁‍♀️ The Premium tier for making the Pins was launched 🤦‍♀️ For everyone that jumped on the Premium (and joined during the 70% weeks) Skool is taking 70% from that monthly membership. Forever. So think about this... You move the slider to a bigger percentage, with the goal to get more members through Growth Boost. Right? You will pay Skool that percentage for ALL purcheses those members would ever do. It doesn't change back, when you change the slider back. I'm happy to open the conversation here. And please ask all questions you might have 🙂 Is it worth it for you?

This is how I assumed it worked tbh, that any members you gain at 70% would be a loss financially, and permanently, since they will also be classed as having joined at that rate, but a benefit as far as numbers go. The 70% to me is for people with fewer members who want to increase them more quickly, so they are a loss financially but a gain numbers wise, with the theory that if you gain more members from this, then switch it off, more people will see the now higher number of members and be more likely to want to join them, and will then join at the lower percentage rate. It's just a shortcut to me, assuming it works, for people who think doing this will get them more members faster than doing it themselves. If I see two almost identical groups, which there are quite a lot of on here (I found 8 with identical names the other day), then the group with the higher number of members makes me think, correctly or otherwise, that that group must be "better", because more people have already made the choice I'm now making and joined it before me. So switching to 70% temporarily is a way to get that higher number faster (assuming it works) which would then result in a long term benefit more of perception, than financially. But eventually financially, if more people join later as a result.

Hi Everyone, I've run a pet loss website for 20+ years and am now trying to build a Skool community to work alongside it. I'm in the middle of building a course (currently held up by errors in Heygen) and have an avatar that presents them and is also the GPT on my website. Eventually I also want my avatar to become a presence on social media and represent both my website and Skool. I also have an Etsy store where I make AI art and custom AI art, mostly pet and animal related, which I'm also intending to tie in with my website and Skool.

WIN for me AND you 😅
2 weeks ago I started a new project. I wanted other ways to promote your communites and help us ALL win with our communities. - I Opened a Pinterest account - Started making Pins and went from 400 to 2,3K views/month (and the month is only half way) - Made 36 Pins last week to promote your communities - Made 20 Pins for this community - First community owner got a member through my Pins Pinterest does not like us to send traffic to the same URL more than 1/week so that's why I am doing rotations of 1Pin/week for every community. The account starts to get traction and I will continue this journey 👊 If you have products that you want to sell seperatly from your community, let me know and I'm happy to see what we can do 😃 If anyone is interested in how to learn to earn through Pinterest, 1 place to be... Pinterest Skool! Pinterest Skool launches the Pinterest Holiday Traffic Playbook in some days and you don't want to miss out on this one. Let's promote!

I use Pinterest for my Etsy store, but it didn't occur to me to use it for my Skool until I saw your post. Might have to get on that.

@Mindy Molein Interesting. Do you mean so it contains niche related keywords, as opposed to a random name. I really find my Etsy store ones do much much better if I spend the time adding hashtags that are actual searches people are doing on Pinterest, and related to my products. But unfortunately I rarely have time to do that level of detail for them. When I was, I was getting 50K views a month, now I'm not, it's gone down to 11K a month, and it goes up and down like that, whenever I spend the time adding them, so it definitely makes a difference. I just wish I had the time to do it.
