Good morning all!!!! I finally scheduled to take the MLT ASCP. I’m nervous and need advice on the best ways to study because failing is NOT an option.

Easiest way to study when you don’t remember flowcharts?

Starting Micro 1 today and already have to memorize the flow charts for Staph, Strep, and Enterobacteriaceae!!!! Any suggestions?

I graduate in December from the MLT program and my school has a rough grading system for the exams. We came back from our first externship in July to a new teacher and I haven’t been doing well on my quizzes and final theory exams. They have been helping me and now I’m in Blood Bank 2. The issue is that I don’t pass my cognitive domain for BB1 because I failed one of three quizzes and failed the final. They let me retake the final again and I did better but still failed. I’m literally 2 pts away from passing which means I need 4 more questions answered correctly on the final to pass. My next externship is already scheduled and after BB2, all I have left is Microbiology 1 and 2. I feel so defeated right now and have no idea what they are going to do. At this point I don’t even know what’s causing me to fail because the concepts I was struggling with, I worked really hard to understand and I think I have a better grasp now.
