WCF - Wemby
After watching Wemby in game 2 and now game 3 of the WCF I cant but notice how he could add a mid post game. Back to the basket and face up. Like, imagine if Wemby developed a mid post game like Melo!? A mid post fade would be unstoppable! What do you guys think?

@Mike Carlson I hear you. But the game changes in the playoffs & his length is a major factor on why I would utilize him in the mid game. Defenses are tailored to stopping the drive and open 3. So that leaves the mid game open in most cases. Take a look at the last 10 NBA Champions. Their star players all flourished in the mid game. Starting with Lebron and Kyrie in 2016, Kawhi in 2019, Lebron & AD in 2020, Middleton and Giannis in 2021, Murray and Jokic in 2023, just to name a few. It also opens the floor up for the shooters around Wemby. Because defense will eventually have to collapse. When the game slows down it’s a weapon. Im not saying it has to be a main feature but if he had that ability the Spurs would be unstoppable because it adds a layer to his game that opposing defenses have to prepare for.

What's up hoop fam! My name is Justin King, I'm new to the community & wanted to introduce myself. I've played 8 years of professional basketball internationally and ran a coaching business in Australia. However I did not capitalize on social media and the virtual side of the business. All Big Man Workout This Morning
Had an elite workout with a high school team in the Philly Area this morning! We had 5 bigs (All 6'6+). It might have been my first team group workout with only bigs, I really enjoyed it. Excited for you guys to see it when we upload! How would you train all bigs?

I would go with hybrid but a main focus on ball handling and decision making. We have 6'6 PG's now a days and college - pro teams all want their bigs to stretch the floor. So I would start the session with low-mid post drills to get them going. Then let the rest of the session be ball handling and decision-making drills and competitive games.
