“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” —Matthew 11:28 (NIV) Reflection: We live in a world that glorifies hustle, productivity, and pushing through—even when we’re breaking down inside. But God doesn’t operate like the world. He sees your exhaustion. He sees the invisible burdens you carry—the pressure to hold everything together, to be strong for everyone else, to “do more” even when your soul is weary. And He says, come to Me. Not, fix yourself first. Not, keep pushing. Just come. You don’t have to earn rest. In fact, rest is holy. It’s a command, not a reward. It’s in the stillness that God speaks the loudest, heals the deepest, and reminds you: you are enough—even when you’re doing nothing at all. Prayer: Lord, thank You for inviting me into rest—not just sleep, but soul-deep restoration. Help me let go of the guilt I feel when I slow down. Remind me that You are still working, even when I’m still. Teach me to trust You enough to rest. In Jesus’ name, amen. Have a blessed day everyone!!
