The Roses They Left You
When your parents are getting older, preparing to leave this world, they are hoping you will carry on what they built, because the house can only survive if you put in the effort. But what they don't always realise is that they never taught you the necessary steps on how to do that. They just tried to hand you the pen, and as a kid, you didn't have the knowledge to understand what you were being given, not until it became necessary. What you have been given should be put to use, because you might already be on a journey of success, and you don't even know it yet. Your parents built an empire, and you are standing inside it. I've learned that it is best to use your network. And here is how I came to understand that. When your parents were watering the roses, and they bloomed, they had to keep watering them for them to stay alive. In turn, that brought a gift into your life. So when the time came, they turned to you. They wanted to give you that gift so you could keep it alive, too. But you never knew how to water roses. All you ever saw was them grown. You never saw the process of how they came to be, and honestly, you never wanted to water them in the first place, because when it became your turn, it felt like a daunting task you had never had to deal with before. But as you got older, and you started exploring many different flowers, you began to realise that those roses were important to your life. They are needed in your everyday life to get to where you want to go. And they are not going to stay alive if you just stay in the house and let them be. You are going to have to put in the same effort your parents did. The effort that brought comfort to your home. That is the only way the roses will survive. Then it hits you that they actually put in a lot of work. It came with steps, it came with struggle, and it came with knowledge. All of that together is what brought comfort to your world. Now it is your turn to do the same. Except now, you step into reality.

Start at the beginning. Seriously.
I know it's tempting to jump around and pick the parts that seem most interesting... But this course is designed to build on itself. Your Linkedin gets stronger after your resume. Your resume gets stronger when you understand your brand. And your brand gets clearer as you go through the process step by step. If you skip ahead, you're making it harder on yourself. If you follow it in order, everything starts to click - faster. It's your call... but if you want the full impact, trust the process and go from start to finish.
Start at the beginning. Seriously.

Questions is the brand your mentioning the pvp part, I’m trying to understand personal branding. Is it basically like a quick pitch about who you are and what you’ve done, or is it more about shaping how people consistently perceive you over time?

Hello everyone, My name is Julia, and I am currently a physics student. I chose to study physics because I want to better understand both the universe we live in and the innovations that will shape our future. I am interested in pursuing a career in research, technology, or finance. In research, I am drawn to the advancements in quantum computing, particularly the development of quantum chips that could enable us to solve complex problems beyond the capabilities of regular computers. In the tech industry, I hope to create innovative and fun products, one fun example being something like the hoverboard from Back to the Future. In finance, I am interested in data analysis and quantitative roles, as I enjoy strategizing and finding efficient ways to achieve goals. Currently, I am working on improving my ability to stay organized and consistent with my tasks. I am also exploring how to best position myself for success in any of these fields. While physics opens many doors, I understand that success requires more than strong academic performance; it also involves building skills and gaining experience outside the classroom. My goal is to make intentional progress toward my future and take advantage of the opportunities available to me. I’m excited to continue learning and growing along the way. Nice to meet you all!
