Journaling Helped Me Realize 80% of My Effort Was Being Wasted—Here’s What I Did Next...
First of all, I wanted to apologize for not making any value posts for a while. I won't be consistent with the value posts for the next few weeks. Anyway... For a long time, I felt busy all the time but wasn’t making the meaningful progress in my business. I was putting in the hours, grinding every day, but something wasn’t adding up. My output didn't match the input. But then, I used journaling to fix this problem and take my productivity to the next level. Here's how... So, I started journaling on one simple question: Where is my time and energy actually going?" ⏳⚡️ I tracked everything I did for a week and wrote about it in detail. Then I asked myself: 👉 Which tasks are directly moving my business forward? 👉 Which tasks feel productive but don’t actually matter? 👉 Which tasks drain my energy without giving me results? After a few days, the patterns became painfully obvious: 📌 I was wasting my effort, time, and energy on low-impact work. Things that made me feel productive but weren’t driving growth. They were unimportant tasks. Sometimes urgent, but still unimportant. 📌 I was constantly context-switching, which killed my focus and wasted time on switching tasks. 📌 I was doing tasks I should have delegated or automated. I was wasting hours on things that weren’t worth my time. I was working hard—but I wasn’t working smart. Journaling helped me realize the harsh truth: Most of my effort, time, and energy was being completely wasted. Here's how I fixed it: Once I saw where my time was going, I made three big changes: ✅ I ruthlessly cut out low-value work. Everything that wasn't driving revenue, growth, or learning was eliminated. “If you’re not adding things back in at least 10% of the time, you’re clearly not cutting enough." - Elon Musk ✅ I batched similar tasks together. I stopped jumping between half completed tasks. Focus = Speed. ✅ I prioritized tasks using ROI as my main performance metric – Every morning, I journaled: What’s the ONE thing I can do today to create the biggest impact?

I Used Journaling to remove 90% of Useless Stress and Scale My Business Faster.
I Used Journaling to remove 90% of Useless Stress and Scale My Business Faster. I used to stress constantly about my business. Every small issue felt like a crisis. I worried about things outside my control. I overanalyzed problems instead of solving them. The stress didn’t just stay in my head—it ruined everything. ❌ My sleep suffered. I’d lie awake thinking about what could go wrong. ❌ My testosterone dropped. Chronic stress wrecks hormones, making me sluggish and unmotivated. ❌ My mental health declined. Anxiety, burnout, and frustration became my norm. ❌ My energy levels tanked. Stress drained me, making deep work nearly impossible. ❌ My business slowed down. Instead of executing, I was stuck worrying. ❌ My mental performance collapsed. Decision fatigue, overthinking, and self-doubt took over. If I didn’t fix this, I wouldn’t last as an entrepreneur. Journaling Eliminated 90% of My Stress. Journaling changed everything. Here’s why it worked: 📌 It forced me to slow down. Writing things out turned my stress into something tangible instead of letting it spiral in my head. 📌 It helped me separate real problems from fake ones. I could see which problems actually needed my attention and which were just mental noise. 📌 It gave me control over my emotions. Instead of letting stress dictate my actions, I processed it logically. 📌 It helped me let go of useless stress. If something was outside my control, I stopped giving it my energy. 📌 It made me a problem-solver. If a stressor was within my control, I’d journal about solutions and create an action plan. The Journaling Process I Used to Fix My Stress Every day, for 2 weeks, I followed this 6-step framework I created myself: 🔍 Step 1: Identify the Stress • I wrote down what was stressing me out in as much detail as possible. • This made it real and specific instead of just a vague feeling. ❓ Step 2: Is This Stress Real & Worth It? • I asked: Is this something that truly matters? Is it within my control? • If not, I wrote out why I was stressing over something that didn’t deserve my energy.
If I Were to Restart My Journaling Journey as an Online Entrepreneur, This Is the Exact Routine I’d Use
If I Were to Restart My Journaling Journey as an Online Entrepreneur, This Is the Exact Routine I’d Use One of the most common questions I get from other online entrepreneurs is: “If you had to start over, how would you journal?” or "what's a simple journaling framework I can use?" Here’s the exact framework I recommend: Morning: Plan & Prioritize (Fast & Focused) ☀️ As soon as possible after waking up, I’d plan out my day by listing: ✅ The habits I need to maintain ✅ The tasks I need to complete Then, I’d journal about each one briefly to: 📌 Rank them from most important & urgent → least important & least urgent 📌 Eliminate low-value tasks that don’t move me forward 📌 Ensure I start my day with clarity and direction and perform everything on the list top to bottom Why keep this session short? Because the goal is to get to work ASAP, not overthink. Evening: Reflection & Optimization 🌙 At night, I’d go deeper. This is where the real growth happens. I’d journal about: ✅ How my day went (successes, struggles, and unexpected obstacles) ✅ My wins (what worked well and why) ✅ Lessons learned (new insights, things to improve) ✅ Mistakes made (why they happened, how to fix them, what I learned) Then, I’d end the session with: 🙏 Three things I’m grateful for and WHY → This shifts my mindset to positivity and progress. Why This Works So Well 💡 Morning = Clarity & Action → Fast, focused, and structured to start the day right. 💡 Evening = Growth & Reflection → Deep insights that compound over time. This routine is simple, powerful, and insanely effective for entrepreneurs. 💬 Comment below: Do you already journal? If not, what’s stopping you? 🔔 Follow me if you’re an online entrepreneur wanting to scale faster, think clearer, and become. more productive with journaling. 🚀

Answering the 4 Biggest Questions I Get About Journaling from Young Online Entrepreneurs
Answering the 4 Biggest Questions I Get About Journaling from Young Online Entrepreneurs Most people journal ineffectively—or worse, they never start. They waste time writing random thoughts without purpose and quit when they don’t see results. I’ve tested nearly every journaling method and developed high-performance journaling systems that have helped me: ✅ 4X my productivity 🚀 ✅ Eliminate stress & mental clutter 🧠 ✅ Make better, faster business decisions 💡 ✅ Stay consistent & focused on what grows my business 💰 I've also helped dozens of online entrepreneurs do the same. You might want to listen to me if you’re an online entrepreneur making four figures per month and want to scale faster by improving your mental performance through journaling. --------------------- 1. "How Do I Start Journaling?" Here’s how to start journaling like a high-level entrepreneur in 4 easy steps: 1. Choose Your Medium 📖📱 A journaling medium is how you record your thoughts. Journaling doesn’t have to be pen and paper. Use a format that fits your workflow: ✅ Google Docs or Notion for organized digital journaling ✅ Voice memos if you think better by talking (even better, record a video of yourself to improve your content creation skills) ✅ Mind maps for visual brainstorming ✅ Traditional notebook if you prefer writing by hand The key? Pick the format that you’ll stick with. These are just some examples; there are dozens of other journaling mediums. 2. Define Your “Why” 🎯 You won’t stay consistent or get the desired results if you don't know why you're journaling. Ask yourself: • Do I want to clear mental clutter? • Do I need to make better business decisions? • Am I trying to stay focused and avoid distractions? Then, decide on a technique that matches your goal (e.g., stream-of-consciousness journaling for clarity, a structured journaling framework for solving business problems, Journaling prompts for targeted insights, etc.). 3. Choose a Technique 🛠️ Journaling isn’t just writing random thoughts. Use a structured approach:
