A casual photo taken while I was walking

I think this is one of the best photos I've ever taken, a scene that is unique to me.

I made the commitment to start! I want to get better in 2026 and eventually maybe some money through photo work. Looking back at my photos from the Bristol meetup, this image stood out as the strongest foundation to work from. The gentleman in the frame is clearly homeless, and the photograph tells its story quietly but powerfully — layers of hardship, resilience, and humanity captured in a single moment. I’m especially proud of this piece. Through careful use of masking and the remove tool, I was able to shape the final image without losing the raw honesty of the scene. It’s a photograph that speaks in many ways, and invites the viewer to pause and really look.
