𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸? Maybe you kept a commitment to yourself, made the better choice when it wasn’t convenient, or simply got back on track after a rough day.

Got back on track after a rough day.
📆Prepare for the Week
Where is movement going to fit into your actual week? Before Monday gets here, take a look at your calendar. Where do you realistically have time for a workout? Where could you fit in a walk? Which days are packed enough that your usual plan probably isn’t going to happen? Then plan your movement around the week you actually have. Maybe you have time for two longer workouts and a couple of short walks. Maybe this is a week when 15 minutes at home makes more sense than trying to get to the gym. Maybe your schedule is wide open and you can do more. 𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲. What does movement realistically look like for you this week?

Due to exams this week and next. I am mainly going to be taking walks around my building through the day.

You don’t need seven different dinners every week. Or seven different breakfasts. Or seven different lunches. Somewhere along the way, variety can turn into another expectation we put on ourselves when we're trying to eat well. But there’s nothing wrong with finding a few simple meals that work for you and eating them regularly. Repeating meals can make grocery shopping easier, reduce the number of decisions you have to make, and give you reliable options when life gets busy. You still want variety in the foods you eat over time. But every meal doesn't have to be new to be nourishing. If you have a meal you could happily eat every week, what is it?

Some variation of rice and beans. It good, it cheap, it easy to make, and it can be easily tweaked to produce wonderful variations. Lately, it, along with turkey and chicken have been a major part of my diet.
📆Prepare for the Week
Before the week gets busy, take a minute to look ahead. What does your week actually look like? Not the week you wish you had. Not the perfectly organized week where nothing unexpected happens. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸. Look at your schedule and think through the Five Pillars: 🔥𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗹: Do you have some simple meals or foods ready for busy days? 🏃🏼𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲: When can movement realistically fit? 🔁𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲: Is there anything you need to protect so you can get enough rest? 🛡️𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲: Where are you most likely to need to follow through even when you don't feel like it? 🧠𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁: What do you want to pay attention to this week? You don't need a perfect plan. You just want to head into the week with a little intention instead of waiting to see what happens. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸?

Waking up earlier and getting out the door early enough to get good parking.
