Id have to say listening and not interrupting and understanding the other persons perspective
Workout → Regulate → Relate
Just got done a workout! Exercise isn’t just for your body — it’s for your mouth too 😅. When you move, you regulate. When you regulate, you communicate. You ever notice you’re more patient after a workout? That’s your nervous system saying, “We’re good. Let’s listen now.” Before you blow up, go for a walk. Sometimes the best way to calm your words is to move your body. Exercise doesn’t just burn calories — it burns reactivity. A calmer body means calmer conversations. Want to argue less? Move more. Your body teaches your brain how to regulate. The gym might just be the real communication class. When your body learns to breathe through the hard stuff, your words start doing the same. 💭💪
