Health gains and observations
Hey hey! As some of you know, I got serious about getting healthier at the start of October. Today, I' 've lost 30 lbs, gained defined biceps, and gone down two sizes in both shirts and pants. Sure, I changed my diet, but not in a boring chicken and rice way. I eat burritos, alfredo, and pizza every day. For lunch today, I had butter chicken mac and cheese. I eat more meat and cheese than I did before. More fiber, too. The workout part? No gym. 32 minutes a week. Planks, side planks, wall sits, hollow body, all 45 seconds each (sometimes a minute), every other day. On the days in between, one rep of vertical push and pulls, one rep of horizontal push and pulls, pistol squat, and nordic curl. Split into pairs and then scattered every other day. So horizontals Mon and verticals Wed, for example. Well, I say one rep. I can't actually do most of those yet. I try as hard as I can, one time each. That's it. 32 minutes a week, more protein, and fiber-dense food. That bar seems really low to me. I continue to be surprised by how easy it's been. I'm no more special than anyone else. If I can do this, so can you. If I can do this, you can do whatever it is you're doing.
