My biggest takeaway was something simple but powerful: Sometimes the greatest lessons don't come from the person leading the conversation, but from the experiences of the people participating in it. 💡❤️ We all come from different backgrounds, face different challenges, and bring different strengths to the table. Yet when we genuinely listen to one another, we discover opportunities to learn, grow, and see things from a completely different perspective. Another takeaway for me was the importance of SHOWING UP! 💪 You never know which conversation might spark your next big idea, create a meaningful connection, or give someone the encouragement they needed that day. And here's a challenge I'd love to share with our Pitch Secrets A-Z family: What if we stopped asking, "What can I get from this community?" and started asking, "Whose life can I make better by showing up today?" 🤔🌟 Because I believe when we lead with service, relationships grow, opportunities follow, and success becomes something we create together! Just imagine the incredible stories, experiences, and wisdom behind all those doors! 🙏✨ I really appreciate something you said: You never put pressure on people. You observe, respect their space, and look for the right opportunity to connect. That's powerful! 💛 And it got me thinking even deeper about our challenge. Sometimes we assume that when someone doesn't respond to our greeting, they don't want to connect. But what if they're shy? What if there's a language barrier? What if their life experiences have taught them to be cautious? We never really know what someone is carrying behind their front door. ❤️ And that brings me to another thought. Maybe the goal isn't necessarily to get someone to talk to us. Maybe it's to become someone they eventually feel comfortable talking to. So here's my challenge back to you, Waltraud! 🎯🔥 What if, between now and Christmas, your goal wasn't to have a conversation with three neighbors, but simply to make three neighbors feel seen, respected, and welcomed—without expecting anything in return? Maybe it's a smile. Maybe it's holding a door. Maybe it's remembering something small about them. And here's the bigger question for all of us: Are we trying to get people to open their doors, or are we becoming the kind of people they feel safe opening their doors to? 🚪❤️ Thank you, Waltraud, for making this conversation so meaningful!
