Fathers Day Baptism
What an honor it was for me to Baptise this young man on Fathers Day, who accepted Jesus 2 1/2 weeks ago. Jeannie and I are very proud of him and his progress.

@Shawn Teeters God is showing up in a big way for this young man. We put him up in a hotel until we could secure housing for him. We found out St Matthew's had beds opening up on Monday. We arranged to pick him up Monday morning and get him to be first in line. I went to pick him up on Monday and he was nowhere to be found. Jeannie was already at St Matthew's house and when I called her to tell her he isn't here, she was extremely upset and the guy who told her about Monday morning beds opening up saw her upset and came over to talk to her. We found out that no beds opened up after all and no one was getting a bed. After explaining what we were doing, Jeannie got a call from St Matthews house later that day and was told the Director approved a bed for him starting Wednesday or Thursday, but he had to call to provide additional information within the next couple of days. We couldn't find him. We started to look for him. The first phone I bought got wet and failed to work the day before. We had no way to locate him. I made that sign and put it where I originally ran into him.Prayers went up. Last night I pulled into the Circle K to get gas after taking Jeffrey to look at an apartment. (I was in Jeff's car which is another amazing story how that happened, because if I wasn't in his car, I wouldn't of got gas) As I was pulling out, David literally cross in front of my car heading into the store. Talk about God answering a prayer so precisely. (Cross Paths) I took him home and housed him for the night. Found out that Monday he didn't show up because He got a job interview and thought that was more important and left me a note before heading out to interview. He got the Job ! I dropped him off this morning for his on-boarding. We stopped on St Matthews House first thing this morning and was told to stop in later this afternoon to complete the paperwork for a move in date of Friday or Monday. I bought him another phone and all is Well. God is so Good !
🚨 The massive leadership lie we’ve all been sold (and how to fix it)
Every single one of us wants to make a massive impact in our ministries, families, and businesses. But modern culture has sold us a trap. Culture tells us that to lead, you have to be the loudest person in the room. You have to be the Hero of the story. You need the stage, the flawless image, and all the answers. So, we try to play the hero. And what happens? ❌ We burn out from the pressure. ❌ The people we lead feel disconnected and discouraged. There is a better way. And it changes everything for team builders. If you look at the life of Jesus, He never fought for the spotlight. He didn’t come to be the hero of a political movement. Instead, Jesus acted as the ultimate Guide. Think about the night before His crucifixion. He didn’t give a booming speech from a throne. He got down on His knees, took a basin of water, and washed His disciples' dirty feet. Jesus redefined leadership forever: True leadership is not about putting the spotlight on yourself. It’s about shining it on others. In our churches, businesses, families, communities and teams, we are not the heroes. The people we lead are the heroes. Our job is to be their guide. Let’s lay down the need to be seen, pick up the towel, and lead like Jesus today. CHALLENGE: The 7-Day "Way of the Towel" Leadership Reset Team, it’s time to move from Hero to Guide. For the next 7 days, we are going to put Jesus’ style of servant leadership into active practice. No theories. Just raw, actionable leadership habits that build unstoppable discipleship teams. 🏆 How to Participate: Read the daily prompt each morning. Complete the action step before the day ends. Reply to that day's post with "DONE" and share a 1-sentence win or reflection.

“Good things are not always God things.” What are some good things you’ve done that you later realized were not God things?

@Shawn Teeters I wouldn't say you wasted your money. You were obedient to Gods word. You did unto others as you would have them do unto you. You loved on this person. Just because it didn't turn out the way you expected, doesn't mean God didn't use it in a profound way we don't understand yet.
