I’m 31 and I own Wallace Electric based out of West Virginia. I’ve been in the trade about 11 years, I’ve done residential, commercial, and industrial work. I’ve run jobs as a commercial and industrial foreman, and finally decided to go out on my own this past January. I honestly expected things to be slow starting out, but it’s been the opposite. I’ve been busy so far, mostly doing residential work. I’d like to branch into commercial work and looking to keep growing in that direction. I joined to learn as much as I can, and share anything I’ve picked up along the way that might help the next guy.
