My boss offered a $50 incentive at the end of the day to get 2 appointments set for Life insurance. They had to be someone you NEVER talked to yet. The fears were real. I didn't wanna be "that guy." But then I remembered fuck fear, and just made the calls. It only took 3 calls. The 1st call was looking for insurance anyway cuz he had term just run out. The 2nd call just wanted to chat, but not commit to an appointment. 3rd was totally down to meet. The fears/scenarios I created in my own head never even existed. Never even resulted. Very positive experience 🥂

We are here to own and conquer all fears! Years ago, my grandfather took me to Lava Hot Springs. We went all the time. But one trip, I met an older gentleman who told me something I never forgot. He told me he had spent his life paralyzed different fears. He made the decision to recognize each of his fears and systematically conquer each one. The fear I remember him being most proud of overcoming his fear of heights. It cost him opportunities. It cost him joy. Most people would tell him to "stay on the ground" or "take baby steps." He didn't do that. He decided to become a pilot. He didn't avoid the thing that scared him. He flew directly into it. He mastered it. He turned his greatest fear into his greatest skill. That is why we are here The words that old man shared with me in those warm hot springs as a young adult, soaked into my soul. I committed to start taking on and owning my fears head on, one at a time. And you know what... I did and still am. And I am better for it. We don't hide from the things that scare us.
