Either work for me mate
Sorry I've been missing for a while.
Been a bit quiet in here… I owe you guys an update. I haven’t posted in about a month. A lot has happened. I lost my job, had a bit of a wobble trying to figure out what the hell I was doing next, and then I came over to Greece for the last couple of weeks. And honestly… I needed the break. Sometimes you can spend so much time thinking about what you should be doing that you forget to just stop for a minute. But I’m coming back with a clearer head. The whole point of Working Man Reset was never to pretend we’ve got everything figured out. It’s for blokes who are tired, burnt out, stuck, starting again, or simply know they need to change something but don't know where to begin. That includes me. So I’m getting things moving again in here and I want to know how we are all doing. Let me know whats been happening with you guys. Anthony

Hope you had a good holiday mate. Same as you mate, lost my job (finished on sickness capability) over 9 years of service only to be spoken down to and disrespected! We're just numbers to employers unfortunately! Then 3 days later, my 3rd and our 2nd daughter Paisley entered the world 6 weeks early 😲 been quite a manic 2 weeks 😂 I've also taken the first steps to go self employed again and starting a garden and outdoor maintenance business! Obviously not the most ideal time of year with it being the end of summer but I wanted to make a start and get something in place! Plus I consider myself to be 'unemployable' at the moment, due to still having no diagnosis or medication for my bowel issues! So we'll see how things go! I must admit the mental affects of everything that's happened this year have taken their toll on me but I'm trying to be positive, which is easier said than done and do still have days when I think what's the point! Hope you're all well gents

Group call.
How we doing lads? Was thinking of doing a group call one day this week, just a casual one to shoot the shit, talk about stuff on our minds etc and maybe get to know each other a bit better. Let me know if any of you would be interested in the comments and I will try and arrange a time that suits everyone. Cheers Anthony

Very true that mate. Hope you're well
Introduction
Hi Everyone. Here is a brief intro which led me to joining this group. Originally from a council estate in Merseyside and worked a decade for the Dept of Social Security. Eventually got married to a lady from California and moved to L.A. in 2005 and started a family. Now in my 50’s and really feeling the strain as talked about in Anthony’s video’s. The cost of living (esp since Covid) and general shift in society have made it hard to get by, mentally, physically and financially. No matter how many hours I work, the pay is never enough to cover the bills.i think my home insurance has increased £500pm over the last year. Cancelling Netflix ain’t gonna cover that. I see my kids less and less because I am always working or sleeping. My health is rapidly deteriorating due to bad diet, a sedentary lifestyle with no time to exercise. If I focus on myself then the bills don’t get paid. I am mentally strong but it’s taking its toll. I stay positive and am grateful for my family and many things. I know we are not supposed to post quotes but there is one that is stuck in my mind and resonates with me. “No one is coming to save you”. Sorry if this sounds fragmented. I am in a rush to get back to work. Hope to get to know you all in the future. Best regards

@Ian Fisher rant away my friend, it's good for you I love ranting it's one of my favourite things 😂 always feel better getting things off my chest! What really worries me is, I can't ever see things getting better now! So it's either accept it, exist for the rest of your life or try and do something to change it and try and give ourselves a chance at freedom! Might not work and we might fall flat on our face, but I rather try than just accept defeat! What's L.A like mate?

@Ian Fisher no worries mate, hope you had a nice break. Seems to be a common theme across the world, the far left ruining everything for the sake of diversity! I'll not go in to a rant about that 😂 Hope you're well mate
