Hey all! For the first time ever, I have a child free week while my daughter visits her grandparents in Alabama, so I told @Glenn Macrae I would structure out one song every day until I have to go pick her up! My goal is to have at least a rough instrumental arrangement of a song, plus scratch vocals of lyrics and melody. And to hold myself accountable, I'm posting my creations here at the end of every day. Feel free to leave feedback if you like! But mostly I just need the accountability. 😅 Today I have (surprise) a dark pop song inspired by Tate McRae and Ariana Grande. Hi everyone…a lil about who I am….I hail from the Great State of Texas, Born and Raised. My music background started at an early age, 6th grade band and onward….I was signed a recording contract with a Label when I was 18, my first sour taste of the industry as an artist/ Producer, life happen, I joined the Marines….served in Both Conflicts During the Kuwait invasion and Enduring freedom, just returning home in 2021 with my family, and now concentrating more on making my first love a business… I do not really box myself in to a specific genre as I tend to write all types of music…but if I had to choose I would say soul music and not talking in terms of genre I am speaking terms of How my souls feels at that moment of creation. I am really digging this class learning a lot…though I may seem to be a bit forward, pay it no mind…That is just the Marine in me… I am harmless. Here are some hiphop beats ive made. For a breif stint i worked with hip hop aritsts. None of these are with any other arists so clearing them should be easy. Is there such a thing as too many tags?
