Automating GSC Data Filtering?
I'm curious to what degree members are leveraging their GSC data using automations. I use Make.com for my automations and can get GSC data similar to how @Jonathan Boshoff showed he does it in N8N. (Classroom lesson). My question is more to do with how to access and use that data more effectively? In Make, I'll use credits for pulling query data, but I'm conscious I could waste a lot of credits if just pull data using default settings. I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience of building filters into their HTTP requests that has helped them access better quality data quicker. Before handing it off to an agent to analyse.

@Colin Clapp I'm currently working on a flow that does this: Get Current and previous period GSC data for one specific page Run a comparison to see which queries improved/declined over time. I'll then use that data to inform content updates.

@Colin Clapp The GSC API can't do filters like that. You have to first pull all the data (Like all query performance for a page) and then use some kind of math/filter/if node to run a calculation. In my example, I ran a custom code node to do the math, but this could be achieved with a bunch of different types of nodes.

How To Get ChatGPT To Recommend Your Brand
Are you trying to get your brand or product recommended by ChatGPT, but not sure how it actually works behind the scenes? In this video, I break down exactly how ChatGPT makes recommendations, where it gets its information, and what YOU can do to become one of the brands it mentions. Most of the tips floating around online about GEO/AEO wrong. I’ll show you what actually works by analyzing real queries, breaking down citation sources, and uncovering the exact strategies to help your brand get shortlisted and recommended. Strategies Covered: ✅ How ChatGPT finds and filters web pages ✅ Why only a few sources actually influence the answer ✅ How to reverse engineer those sources for your brand ✅ How to rank organically to increase citation potential ✅ How to use topical authority and backlinks to boost visibility ✅ Why shortlist citations matter more than general mentions ✅ Specific tactics to pitch or pay to get on curated lists ✅ Using long-tail and niche variations to break into competitive queries Key Takeaways: - ChatGPT uses a triage and filtering process, not just a simple crawl. - It references only the most relevant and authoritative sources to answer questions. - If you want to be recommended, you must be on the shortlisted citations. - Ranking high in Google still matters, most citations overlap with search results. - Smaller brands can still get featured by targeting specific use cases or long-tail queries. This video walks you through exactly what to look for, what to create, and how to get mentioned using real-world examples and data.

@Ajay Rokade Yes, it matters more than ever. You need backlinks from reputable, high traffic, high authority sources. Somewhat measurable via Ahrefs Domain Rating, or SEMrush authority score.
Does AI Generated Content Work For SEO & AI Search?
I ranked a DR 0 site for a 23k search volume keyword. I also landed AI overviews and ChatGPT mentions for the article. Watch this quick video for three examples of AI generated content working for SEO, AI overviews, and ChatGPT mentions. I show real GSC performance and live examples of their rankings. ~ It's fair to say that AI generated content definitely can and will perform if done well. If everyone uses AI to create their content (most already do) - then it's a game of whoever has the best AI wins.
