My buddy Steve Giles called this color of gaberdine trousers Cary Grant grey. That made me chuckle but I get it. This classic deep double forward pleat is a staple design that I picked up several months ago from him. I am wearing it with a Brooks Brothers wine shirt, cashmere socks and my 1982 Alden Shell Cordovans. Cheers

I know I need to post some OOTD but I haven’t started buying new clothes yet. Still another 20 pounds to lose the big belly. So I’ll share this pic of me eating protein rich raw oysters while wearing my “Oyster Bar” hat with two pearls on it. 🦪

While a bit sartorial, it’s much more of a memory. My wife and I visited the Acropolis during our honeymoon in 2005 and took the first photo. Today we attempted to recreate it though the structure had been heavily altered since then. Our guide helped us find the right spot and cried as she saw the original photo.
