Live Steaming
Any musicians here live streaming their performances? I’m interested to hear if anyone else is live streaming their music, either from a home studio or at live gigs. I currently stream on Twitch, both from my home studio and when I’m out performing live. I’m also interested in exploring other platforms and ways of reaching a wider audience. Is anyone else streaming on Twitch, YouTube, Facebook or other platforms? I’d be interested to hear what platforms you’re using, how you’re finding the experience, and whether streaming has helped you build an audience or connect with other musicians. Would be great to compare experiences and ideas!

Local Contest
I’m very grateful to have been nominated in the category of “Best Local Musician” for myFM’s “Spirit Awards”. WHERE'S EVERYONE PLAYING THIS WEEKEND?
Thought we'd try something a little different this week! If you've got a gig coming up this weekend, let us know where you're playing, what sort of gig it is and what part of the world you're in. Pub, club, wedding, corporate gig, private party or a three-hour acoustic set in the corner while everyone watches the football. 😂 And if you're NOT gigging this weekend, let us know what you're up to instead. 🎥 Anyone Up for a Live Chat?
I'm thinking about organising a live group chat here on Skool and wanted to see if there's enough interest. Nothing too structured for the first one. Just a chance for us to actually meet each other, have a chat and talk about anything related to live gigging. Ask questions, swap stories, share ideas, complain about venues... all the important professional development stuff. 😂 If there's enough interest, I'll find a day and time that hopefully works for most people. Ever been snubbed before?
I have a played gigs at a restaurant a number of times and they seem to have gone well. But lately the owner has been giving me the cold shoulder and getting other musicians for the summer season. Do I take offence or just suck it up and move on? If I get a call eventually in the dead of winter, do I take it anyways? Anyone else experience this?

I wouldn’t take offence….. it’s like when you’re shopping you don’t only use one store to buy all your shoes etc. Variety is good then they appreciate you more when you play there again!
