Nonprofits Can Grow Faster Than You Think
A lot of nonprofits believe they must wait for donations to grow, but there’s another way. Strategic grants, partnerships, and properly written proposals can accelerate growth and expand impact in months, not years. Often, it’s not about resources, it’s about knowing where to focus and how to present your mission effectively. If your nonprofit could access funding tomorrow, what project would you launch first?

Are You Applying to the Right Grants?
Not every grant fits every nonprofit. Applying to the wrong opportunities wastes time, energy, and resources—and can even harm your credibility if the submission is off-target. Targeting the right grants and presenting your nonprofit correctly is what separates successful organizations from those that constantly struggle. How do you decide which grants to pursue for your nonprofit?

The Hidden Mistake in Nonprofit Proposals
You could spend hours writing a proposal, but even then, many nonprofits get rejected. Why? Often the mistake is simple: not aligning objectives to what the grantor wants, unclear budgets, or missing supporting documents. One small fix can completely change the outcome and make the proposal stand out. Has your nonprofit ever lost funding for something small that could have been avoided? Share your experience.

Why Some Businesses Never Win Government Contracts
You know what I’ve noticed? A lot of businesses say they want government contracts, but when it's time to apply, they just copy an old proposal and hope it works. The truth is — every agency wants something different, and what worked before might not work now. I’ve helped businesses improve their bids just by changing how they approach the requirements. Be honest… when preparing a bid, do you start fresh, or do you reuse an old proposal hoping it fits?

Beware of scams!
I’m getting more people looking for ways to scam through what we are doing. I want you to be very aware of how I operate. If you follow me or if you are on my live events and you know that I am very personable. I do not use in this community to scam. I created this community to be the thing I wish I would’ve had when I first started my nonprofit: a place for resources, grant alerts, and community connections so that we can all help each other. Come in this community with the attitude that I want to give as much as I want to receive, and I promise you will get more out of this experience. HOWEVER, if you are contacted for any reason from a person who is not listed as a moderator, please know that this would most likely be a scam and you have every right to block them. Then notify me, @Chris Woods or @Janine Ivy Atabelo member support, so that we can investigate. Now, I am an advocate for collaboration, so we did create a pathway. But everything must be done decent and in order. If you would like to be an official partner in this community, you must first be interviewed (DM member support to schedul) to ensure that you are a good fit, verified business and we need to review your product or service. and then you will pay a $99 fee for the year (introductory fee. Regular fee is $499/yr). Let me know if you have any questions.
