School of Pain
They say pain is a teacher. No matter how hard I try I can't bring myself to appreciate that school.

@Anthony Rios I'm talking about the trifecta: emotional physical and spiritual. Physical pain from old injuries (back and appendages) are especially hard to understand.

Hi. I'm John . I have recently emerged from a prolonged struggle with severe anxiety and depression. I live in North Carolina although I grew up in the coal fields of West Virginia. Growing up in one state and time (I'm 60) and having lived in another Ive experienced a lot of changes. Perhaps the biggest one has been my spiritual journey. I trained as a Christian Fundamentalist minister but I left the church due to a crisis of conscience. I have since become a seeker. I look forward to joining others on this path of healing and discovery.
