Kayak or Boat, what’s your platform?
Starting to get a few members on here. I would like to see what ratio of kayak to boat owners are. Deciding where to fish and how are very different when I fish from a boat or kayak.

@Lance Burris that one is 26’. Requires a 112lb trolling motor for my style of fishing. But it’s nice to have for the kids and friends. We sit 10 really comfortably.

Dirty water or clear water?
What’s your preference? Have you ever thought about water temp changing that answer?

I like dirty water when it’s warm. I like to have 1-2ft of visibility. If the water is below 50 degrees I like to downsize my lures, so I prefer cleaner water. All of that can change depending on the lake too. If the lake is typically really clear, I don’t seem to do as well when it gets dirty. Wilson lake was a prime example this year, it’s typically clear and I typically catch a lot of good fish, but it was low and dirty this summer and I didn’t catch any.
