How your environment is influencing your success more than you think
Sometimes the reason you feel stuck isn’t because you’re not talented enough. It’s because of the people and environment around you. The cheerleader believes in you when you doubt yourself. The helper shares advice and wants to see you succeed. The truth-teller gives honest feedback that helps you grow. The energy-giver brings solutions and positivity into difficult moments. When you surround yourself with the right people, you give yourself a better chance to grow, improve, and enjoy the journey again. Who in your circle has helped you grow the most?

I am the energy giver in most rooms. That's just how I show up — solutions, momentum, and a refusal to stay in the problem longer than it deserves. The question asks who helped me grow the most, and the honest answer is: the people who modeled the standard before I claimed it for myself. Tony Robbins taught me that meaning is the lever. Long before I met him in person, his work showed me that I'm in charge of what every situation becomes. That alone rewrote my life. Evan has done something different. He's modeling what it looks like to lead a movement by showing up every single day, for years, with the same energy. That kind of consistency is its own teacher. I've learned more from watching how he runs this room than from any course. And the rest is this room. Movement Makers. BelieveNation. The 4am check-ins, the comments, the people doing the reps in public. You're all teachers whether you know it or not. The right environment doesn't push you forward. It raises the floor you're standing on until your old ceiling becomes your new floor. That's what's happened to me here. Grateful .. #Free | #BelieveWalk Challenge
Why taking ownership might be the breakthrough you need right now
“Take ownership of everything in your world. Take ownership of your mistakes. Take ownership of your shortfalls. Take ownership of your problems. And then take ownership of the solutions that will get those problems solved.” - Jocko Willink Jocko Willink reminds us that growth begins when we stop blaming everything around us and start taking responsibility for our lives. It’s easy to point fingers at circumstances, other people, or bad timing. But real progress happens when you ask, “What can I do about it?” Owning your mistakes doesn’t make you weak. It makes you stronger, wiser, and more in control of your future. The moment you take ownership is the moment you take your power back. What’s one area of your life where you need to take more ownership?

Jocko's right about ownership. I'd just point it at one thing. People try to take ownership of the wrong stuff. The weather. The market. The government. Other people. None of it answers to you. You can own it all day and nothing moves. The one thing that actually responds to ownership is your emotional mind. That's it. That's the whole game. You can't control what happens. You can control the meaning you give it and how you respond. That's where your power lives. The mistake most people make isn't a bad decision. It's never taking control of themselves in the first place. They spend their energy on the things they can't move and leave the one thing they can sitting untouched. Own yourself first. Everything Jocko's talking about flows from there.

The thing I keep coming back to is this, showing up is the strategy. Not the tactics, not the hacks, not the perfect post. Just being here, every day, doing the reps when nobody's watching. That's what BelieveNation has reinforced for me. A room full of people who decided to show up changes what's possible — for them and for everyone watching them. To anyone reading this who's not on the leaderboard yet, you're closer than you think. Show up tomorrow. Then the day after. The leaderboard sorts itself out.

AI. That's the skill. And not the way most people are running at it. The real skill isn't learning the tools. Tools change every 90 days. The skill is mastering the emotional mind underneath the tools — the meaning you give to what AI is, what it can do, and what it makes you. I've watched smart operators freeze in front of AI because it threatens the identity they built before it existed. I've watched others run at it from fear, chasing every new model. Both miss it. The ones who win aren't the most technical. They're the ones who got clear inside themselves first. Who decided what AI means to them and then directed it at the work that actually matters. Same as any other tool in history — the person running it is always the variable. That's where AI is pointed. Not at teaching tools. At teaching operators how to think clearly enough that the tools become leverage instead of noise. Master the emotional mind and the meaning you give it. The AI part takes care of itself.

@George Markovic That's awesome, George. I just want to acknowledge you. It's an automatic habit: even when you don't want to, you get pulled to that morning walk. Keep moving forward, brother. You rock.
