Mix Engineers (or Mastering) You Like???
So, now that I'm listening with a critical ear (or at least I think I am...), I've started picking songs out of albums or playlists that catch my attention with their particular style or affectations, and then I start to seek out more of that mix engineer's (/producer sometimes) work. Recently on a Tchad Blake kick. Who do you like?? And why? I like that T Blake often creates a canvas using hard Left, hard Right, and Center as individual spaces for instruments, etc. It seems that it forces some decisions on stripped down instrumentation, but really opens up the creativity to make unique choices on what to do with those instruments because they do have so much room to roam. He's obviously very prolific, but the first album I noticed his style was Bonnie Raitt's "Fundamental" album.

I agree that the way T Blake utilizes the SansAmp is pretty cool. I like AltMetal & D&B, so regarding legends: I definitely like the 80’s sound and all of the pioneering hard hitting sounds characteristic of Bob Clearmountain. Don’t forget about Alan Parsons; Awesome artist and trendsetting audio engineer. There are so many bad mixes out there that it's nice to not forget the good audio "Mixologists". Thank you.
Commitment Statement
Hi everyone, Terry John. I signed up for VIP during the “Black Friday” sale. I am not trying to prove anything other than to do my best and learn as much as possible from all of you. This includes the published works/courses. I appreciate all of the posts and sound clips.

Hi, Terry John Armanini. Sometimes TJ. Why do I love music? I just do. “I love music!” Where am I in my journey? In the middle somewhere. TRE immediately became interesting after seeing the program flow. I’m the type that always must visualize or see the finale before I commence (It’s probably the ADHD ). I hope to be encouraging to others and hope to gain fresh insight from others whether they view my work as either good or bad.
