Hey guys, my name is Joel. I train at Paulo Santana in Winston Salem, NC. I've been doing jiu jitsu off and on for six years, but have been serious about it since May. I am definitely a 1/10 on takedowns. My biggest weakness is shooting. I am strong and fast but I telegraph all of my moves and I don't do enough reps to get coordinated enough to get comfortable. Honestly, my biggest goal would be to start being able to shoot takedowns at will on my teammates. My short term training goal is to get back to doing 7-8 sessions a week instead of feeling like I'm too busy to get more than 2-3 in.
