Cursor AI
How many of you are using something like Cursor AI to help you build the base of your website and then making modifications and cleaning up the code along with making it more secure?

I use Cursor for a lot of my work. Now the catch is you have to understand the code it's writing or else it can really mess things up for you and destroy your work and or security of your work.

I would say not having your own proper domain and using a gmail address probably detracts from the professionalism/validity of your business as well.
Subscription modelsโ€ฆ
I was wondering if any of you run your agencies/ businesses / freelance work on a subscription based model. So instead of one off costs for a full build, (although if the clients had absolutely nothing a smaller one off cost would be needed) the client has an option of 3 tiers which would be dependent on the amount of support needed but would enable them to submit tasks and projects and then have them fulfilled? Itโ€™s kind of the middle ground between freelance and full agency. As it would be just me completing the workload initially I have priced accordingly and factored in my capacity. What do you think? Itโ€™s targeted towards businesses who are growing and have a small team but not fully ready for a full in house team. Not sure if this is a good idea?

Subscription models always make more money in the long run and it helps you know what you are making each month reducing the fluctuation of income from month to month. However if you are going to do subscription based pricing you generally offer hey here is a one time cost (Example: $3000). Then you say or we could do a retainer for (Example: $1500 a month) But with that you get X updates per month, X phone calls per week, Maybe 2 hours where I will answer question in slack. You have to be able to sell them on how they are getting more from the subscription and how having you on retainer is making them more money than they are paying you.
How do YOU get new leads?
Yoyo! Wanna ask yโ€™all a question regarding acquiring new leads. I was debating with myself about this, but do you think it is better to be on EVERY platform for more leads? And how do you get new leads on every platform? Like what strategy? I think so, but am curious to know what you think!

More leads equal more exposure. Then you send DMs to potential clients but make sure the DMs are highly customized to that person. Don't just cookie cutter copy paste.
