Nightmare of a match
Saturday was one of the hardest matches I’ve ever played. We lost 12–0, and we didn’t even have a single shot the whole game. I know the other team is really, really good , probably the best we’ll face all season, but that doesn’t make it easy to accept a result like that. I played the first half in goal and conceded five goals. I shared the match with the other goalkeeper, but it still hurts knowing the ball went past me so many times. I tried my best on every play, every save, every one-on-one, but sometimes your best just isn’t enough. That’s a tough thing to learn, especially as a goalkeeper, because when the team struggles, it feels like everything ends with you. What makes it harder is knowing where we came from. In the East League, we finished fifth out of eight teams, and even then we were put into the Major League. The team we played were the West League champions , undefeated, except for one draw, in a league with nine teams. That’s a huge difference. I really believe that in Premier we could be fighting for the title, but here in Major, it might be a season where we’re fighting just not to be last. Results like this hurt everyone, but goalkeepers feel it differently. Every goal stays in your head. Still, I know quitting or giving up isn’t the answer. I’ll keep training, keep learning, and keep standing back in goal, because that’s my job, even on the days when it feels like a nightmare. André Ferreira

Back to it
After missing training most of last week due to a slight knee sprain (I got 2 footed tackled at school whilst playing football at lunch) it was great to be back

Its always at School... Same when André been 3 weeks injured with a bad knee injury during last season
Great performance today
Not the result we wanted today (3–2), but an amazing performance from Oliver. Coach feedback after the game was that he’s outstanding off his line, and these photos really show that ,quick decision making, positive starting positions, brave smothering under pressure and total commitment to protecting the ball. At this age, that willingness to come and claim in traffic, trust his timing and put his body on the line is huge. Really proud of him as always 💙 ⚽️

Congratulations! Great Photos
Player Of The Match
Dylan wore his Triga 360 gloves for the first time today and was not disappointed!! He made a series of top saves, two individual moments of sheer bravery, won all his one v ones and saved a penalty to end up with a 4 2 win and the man of the match trophy. Some gloves eh!!!

Well done
Illness
Hi Ray and team. Morgan will be unable to post anything for a couple of weeks due to his osgood-schlatters flaring up and the physio has advised him to rest until the new year and do no sports at all in that time. Apologies.
