I love Full Moons 😊 It was too cloudy to capture the Blood Moon in all its glory earlier in the week, but this was the view from my back door last night 😊 The phone camera really doesn’t do justice to how spectacular it was 😊 Did you get any moon shots?

We have had beautiful Spring weather in Ireland for the last few days. Everything is drying up after weeks and weeks of relentless rain 😊 Everyone - including our horses - is in better form. The evenings are brighter and Mother Nature is waking up 😊 It’s all very lovely. But here’s what’s bugging me …. That relentless rain is just gone. All those gallons of water that fell from the sky soaked into the land and made it waterlogged. Fields were too wet to use, and too wet to drive on, and the excess water became a threat to the environment in agricultural areas. On the other hand, we’re reading about a potential ‘water famine’ (which I think is just a new term for ‘drought’) because of the demands of the ever-increasing number of data centres needed to power AI. Like it or not, the AI genie is well and truly out of the bottle and is never going back. Just like air travel and family cars and all the other modern conveniences we’ve become accustomed to, it’s here to stay. We can’t undo AI - but we can be smart about how we manage it. If the volume of rain that fell in the first couple of months of 2026 had been collected, nobody would have to be worried about any kind of drought. As a species, we really to work smarter! One of the simplest ways to reset is to spend quiet, undemanding time with horses - or any animal, or in nature 🪾 Not training. Not fixing. Not ‘doing’ anything! Just sitting nearby. Breathing. Allowing your nervous system to slow as theirs does. Horses invite us back to presence . Notice the steady rhythm of breath, the sound of hooves shifting or tails swishing, the calm awareness of being here, now. Let them help you empty the emotional pockets you didn’t realise were filling! Protecting our own allows us to keep showing up with clarity, kindness, and integrity for the people and horses who rely on us.
