🌕 Day 14 — Halfway and Honest
We’re two weeks in. And if I’m being honest, this is usually where my energy shifts. The excitement of starting something new has worn off. The deep emotional waves from the first week have softened. What’s left is the real work — consistency. Today I’m not feeling dramatic insight. I’m not in resistance. I’m not in a breakthrough. I’m just… here. And maybe that’s the point. Growth isn’t always emotional. Sometimes it’s practical. It’s choosing to stay committed even when it feels ordinary. It’s showing up without needing a big realization. For me, today is about honesty. What’s actually changing?Where am I still reactive?Where am I softer than I was two weeks ago? I can see small shifts. I pause a little more.I judge myself a little less.I notice my tone sooner. That’s not flashy. But it’s real. I don’t need this journey to be profound every day.I just need it to be consistent. Healing isn’t built onintersity. It's built on repetition. And today I’m choosing to stay with it — not because it’s dramatic, but because it matters. 🌊 If you’re feeling steady or even a little neutral right now, that’s okay. Sometimes the middle is where integration happens. We’re not chasing a feeling. We’re building a foundation. And foundations are quiet.

I totally agree! And am very much looking forward to the next half.
“What Actually Creates Healing?”
What has actually helped you heal — not just cope? I’ve been thinking about this lately. There’s a big difference between coping and healing. Coping helped me survive.Healing required me to slow down, feel, and build capacity. In this community, I’m here to deepen real healing — not just collect tools. So I’m curious: What has genuinely shifted something for you? Not advice. Not theory. But something that created real internal change. I’ll go first: For me, it was learning to regulate my nervous system before trying to fix my emotions. Once my body felt safe, my thoughts softened. Would love to hear what’s worked for you.

Noticing when I tend to disconnect from my body without judgement and then gentle re-connecting and attuning. Once attuned, I'm far more able to find the "answers" from within and trust the inner wisdom of my body. This coming home to myself feels so loving, safe and hopeful.
Day 4 —Listening in your body
Day 4 —Listening in your body Today is about noticing when we are at our max. Not the dramatic breaking point. Not the collapse. But the subtle edge. The tight jaw.The shallow breath. The short responses. The quiet resentment. The urge to just “push through.” I’m learning that being at capacity doesn’t always look chaotic. Sometimes it looks productive. Capable.Responsible. But inside, the nervous system is whispering,“This is too much.” And here’s the harder question: When I push through… am I meeting the moment? Or am I repeating a pattern? A pattern of not saying no. A pattern of overextending. A pattern of proving. A pattern of abandoning myself in the name of being strong. Slowing down can feel uncomfortable. Not doing something can feel like failure. But sometimes not doing is the most regulating thing we can choose. Rest is not quitting.Pausing is not weakness.Saying no is not rejection. Sometimes the most aligned action is restraint. Today I am asking myself:Where am I at my edge? And what would happen if I honored it instead of overriding it? Where do you notice your “max” showing up lately? And what would slowing down make possible for you?

My 'Max" shows up in my shoulders which become tight and tense. Slowing down, pausing, stopping, resting gives me time to reflect and to listen to what my body is telling me and then honouring what ever it needs.
Day 2 - Staying ( journal attached )
🌊 Day 2 — Staying Today was not graceful for me. It was full of anxiety. I’m sitting with a big trigger right now — one that activated old patterns in my nervous system before I even realized what was happening. And if I’m honest… I didn’t follow my own advice today. Instead of staying with myself, I left myself.I moved into reaction. And afterward, I judged my behavior. That judgment voice can be so quick. “You should know better.” “You teach this.” “You’re supposed to be grounded.” But this is the work. Staying doesn’t mean performing regulation perfectly. It means noticing when we’ve left — and gently coming back. So today I am refocusing. I’m placing one hand on my heart. One hand on my belly.Feet flat on the floor.Letting my breath move between those two hands. Nothing dramatic.Just anchoring. When anxiety rises, the body needs safety more than it needs analysis.Touch helps.Breath helps.Slowing down helps. And instead of shaming myself for not doing it “right,”I am choosing to practice what we are learning: Compassion grows when we stay. Even if we leave first.Even if we wobble.Even if we react. Coming back is the practice. 🌊 Invitation to You Have you ever noticed how quickly judgment follows a hard moment? What helps you come back to yourself when you realize you’ve been triggered? No Fixing. No advice. Just reflection. We are learning to stay — together.

Thanks for being so honest, vulnerable and courageous!!!
Echoes the Body Knows
Something I’ve learned through fire-keeping and ancestral work is this: 👉 What we don’t speak, our bodies remember. So I’ll ask gently:What is one story, pattern, or feeling in your life that you suspect didn’t start with you? You don’t need to explain it perfectly.Just name it if you want to. This is a listening space. 🌊
