Excitement Can Overwhelm the Brain Too
I have learning overwhelm! I just finished my second amazing workshop in the last two weeks. Even though everything was laid out clearly step by step, my brain hit overload. So instead of forcing it, I’m giving myself space to walk away for the night and come back tomorrow ready to implement. Both workshops were about using AI to improve Amazon listings and PPC, and honestly, I’m excited to put it all into action. But excitement can overload the brain too. There’s actually some interesting brain science behind this. When we learn a lot of new information at once, our working memory gets crowded. The brain needs pauses and sleep to sort, store, and connect what we learned. That’s often why things feel clearer the next morning after stepping away. So tonight, I’m letting it breathe instead of trying to force productivity. Learning is important. But implementation is where change actually happens. What about you? What’s something you learned recently that you still want to implement?

I was learning today about the different types of dopamine hits and how the ones that come from scrolling social media etc rewire the brain and reduce the motivation level for anything that takes effort! Fascinating stuff. And leads me into a 'dopamine detox' over the next couple of weeks.

@Mk Duma it is fascinating stuff isn't it! I think most people's attention spans are getting tested these days!
Confession 🤷🏻‍♀️
I said I was moving from ChatGPT to Claude. I didn’t. I’m using both. And I am documenting why, how, and when to use Claude in the Claude Coworker Lab. Claude for systems, workflows, artifacts, AI agents, and deeper thinking. ChatGPT for speed and visuals. The image builder is 🔥! The real shift: I stopped trying to use one AI for everything. And started giving each tool a specific job. One helps me think and build. One helps me create faster. Once only reads my sources... Now I’m curious… What’s one thing you wish AI could do better in your business right now? Reply below. I’ll pick a few and show you exactly how I’d solve it using AI.

I'm on the email list of the Laurens and they use Gemini Deep Think for their sales strategy and messaging and rave about it. I'd be interested if anyone in here uses this as well. Tomorrow they have a free monthly call to show how they use it. Let me know if you want the link.
I just created a new monthly routine!
I am scheduling a date with myself on the first Monday of each month. The first Friday is still my business money date, where I track my business finances. See clear numbers and reflect on how my income is growing. But today was different. I looked at my time. Not just what I want to do…What actually fits in an 8-4 schedule. I moved things around. I removed things. I made decisions I had been avoiding. I calendared the month's VIP and coaching calls. And I feel lighter. Not because I planned more…Because I made fewer, clearer commitments all in once batch. And now it's done and can be maintained as I go. This might be the piece we skip. We might track money. But most of us don’t track time with the same intention. What would change if you did both? First Monday → time First Friday → money That’s a powerful rhythm. If you were to try this… which one do you need more right now? Let's take one step forward together.

Def time. I've got out of the habit of doing Monday hour one (which I learned from Cristina Roman) and found that scheduling expanded time for me. Thanks for the reminder!
Savor the small moments
It's coffee time. And I’m loving my protein-almond-milk coffees on weekend mornings! 🙏🏻 Savor the small moments. This is the key to happiness. 🎁

I really savor starting my morning with sun and water, esp with my face upturned to fully receive the sun
This is your sign to clear one small thing right now
I had water bills showing up for the previous owner for a different address. They sat on my desk for weeks. Today I called and it took less than two minutes to let them know they have the wrong address. And now they are in the recycling bucket instead of on my desk! Nothing about that task was hard.I just didn’t start it and finally I did! So many things we carry are completely unnecessary to carry! Completing small thing build momentum fast. And momentum feels a lot better than mental clutter. What’s one thing you can take off your plate right now? Do it, then come back and tell us what you cleared ⬇️

I've decided to do a digital declutter of all the old 'stuff' on my hard drives that I'm never going to look at again. Some of them require a deep breath before I hit delete. Deleted a couple of GB so far and a lot more to go. A bit every day and I'll get there...

@Lynsey Wall thank you. and yes it can get quite consuming once I start... good luck with your declutter!
