I'm taking a break from illustrations this month and focusing on crafts. I want to knit a few blankets for the holidays season to send to friends, and maybe finish up a embroidery project? I have so many projects in the works that I want to finish. I didn't used to be like this but when I turned to my 30s and it just got worse.... 🥲

I forced myself to finally start my Inktober drawings this week. I usually do the lineart a month in advance so that I can just color them in during October. This year I've gotten very distracted by bookbinding so I'm a little behind. Here's a sneak peek at Day 1:

@Christopher Foster I love this! I used to make miniature dollhouses for a good bit myself too. Granted, mine were a little more commercial since they were premade kits. I would swap out the framed photos and turn the books into manga though haha. Your mini paintings are adorable!

I'm doing some bookbinding this weekend. Next weekend I'll be starting my Inktober drawings (I usually start them early because I will inevitably fall behind thanks to my horrible hyper-fixations on detail. This year I'm going with a Fungi x Moth/Butterfly theme! Can't wait to share!
