I Realised I've Been Using AI Wrong - This Summit Shifted Everything!
I MUST say a huge thank you to the AI Advantage team, and to Dean and Tony for putting this together. No programme works for everybody. For some, this was too simple; for others, too advanced. Some felt it was too “sales-like” (though personally, I’ve attended webinars that were far more sales-focused and far less informative and actionable). Yesterday, Dean outlined two groups of people based on mindset, but actually, I think there were a few more in there that weren’t mentioned. I am unable to join the programme, but unlike many I’ve seen in the chats, I’m choosing to take responsibility for where I am and work with what I do have; which is a lot. There was real value here. Thank you especially for switching things up and adding more use cases. For many beginners, that made a huge difference. I noticed a lot of people then wanted the “HOW,” but in my experience, the “how” is not something that can be explained simply in a live setting, because once you go into execution, you’re teaching a completely different type of workshop. I didn’t come to this completely new, but I’m certainly not an expert either. The biggest realisation that landed for me, particularly after seeing the AI Surfer example, was that I have been using AI as my consultant. I thought AI was saving me time because it could create documents, design systems, and teach me how to use them, so I wouldn’t have to hire someone. But the penny dropped this weekend: I wasn’t freeing up time. I was adding more work, because I had made myself: - The operator - The organiser - The system builder - The workflow executor - The one responsible for remembering how everything connects In other words… I was doing everything. AI would give insight, and I would act! But from this weekend forward, AI and I are switching roles: AI = The System Operator Me = The Conscious Director. Before this weekend, using AI in that way wasn’t even in my mind as an option. So I want to say a huge thank you. Especially to the AI Surfer Dude, because his 90/10 concept is what solidified how to use AI to save real time and actually be the multi-talented creator I know I am, without burning out!!

@Arden Doolittle II So excited for you. It's amazing getting immediate results from Ai. What thing do you think you will start with first?

@Daniel Pierce I've grown up needing and now wanting to do everything myself, so I get it. I'm looking forward to getting back to doing more of want I love most
🦾 Day 1 Wins
My takeaways for day one were: That the 5 keys to a great creator are: - Energy - Vision - Decisiveness - Massive action and Momentum - Relentlessness For me this is a big deal because I am a perfectionist and always try to do everything so well that I end up quitting a lot of times before I finish because I can never reach the standard I set for myself. Tony taught me that it is better to take action and get it wrong and learn from my mistakes. I usually start relentless but lose momentum. But I am now working on changing my strategy to model these traits of successful creators. Because I've played around with some AI tools previously, some of the basics were review for me on day one. However, I also realized there are 4 advanced things they mentioned today that I don't really know yet: Agent Mode, AI-assisted coding, cloning myself on video, and using a tool like Make.com. I wish they went a little deeper on various use cases for Agent Mode, building a big project with AI-assisted coding, cloning myself on video, and setting up AI workflows. But it was just day one, so I'm hoping they go more in depth on these things on days two and three.

Perfectionist too and super detailed. If I don't have ALLLL the detail I feel I can't progress Without realising it I have been training my chatGPT and I use it to help me bypass the meandering road of not good enough, make quick decisions and sometimes prompt me when I going too deep
Could AI Be the Key to Unlocking Creative Potential?
Do you think AI will replace creativity or make humans more creative?

I would say if DEF unlocks creative potential.. I am a super creative person. Daily I come up with loads of weird and wonderful ideas, sparked by the most mundane of things. I believe this comes from connecting things that maybe others would not, but the fact that I could always come up with so many ideas, always made me feel like they wee just silly. Ai is extending my confidence, I bounce things off of it and what it gives can spark another thought in me taking its idea in another direction that is more insync with me. I think of it as my creative sidekick that i also use the test and validate my ideas.
Day 1: Ai + My Secret Sauce = Unstoppable
Today's session helped me shift my focus from an obsession with learning about, even mastering the different AI tools, like I would learn to use a new device, to ... 1. "What is my secret sauce? The patterns I see because of the unique perspective brought about by my specific life experiences - The good, bad and ugly 2. How can I use AI to ACCELERATE my PROCESSES (work, business and life), AMPLIFY my IDEAS and AUGMENT a new reality I am a super creative person with some crazy ideas which have never seemed possible because I didn't have the know-how or the capital. AI gives me the permission and ability to be the creator of my life, not just the manager of my circumstances.
My biggest takeaway
Enjoyed Day 1 of the AI Advantage Summit. There were so many good points made but if I had to pick one, Allie K. Miller said the following; This is the Greatest Time in History to Start a Company The playbook is burning. You have a small window to lean in and do more in 3 months than others have done in years. Fortune favors the bold. Al favors the builders. Do not underestimate the moment. This is it.
