I am relatively new to the Author scene and thank you for being so welcoming. I enjoyed my first Book Club meeting this evening. I have been a professional photographer for many years, and have written a few books on wildlife I've photographed, or places I have traveled. This is the first book I have actively been trying to market as a self published author. It is tough out there, and I am still struggling to find the right formula for success. On April 2nd, I was the featured author on a Vermont Book Club Zoom presentation that had 172 viewers. The first time I had been interviewed on a live Zoom Call, and I loved answering questions about the book, the trip, and others possibility of going on Safari. Jim Walker and the Vermont Book Club I also enjoyed being part of the Book Club Meeting with the Big Book Love Book Club this evening. Thank you for being so welcome into the community.

I have a question for those with more experience than me! I have a friend who writes dystopian novels and she has had video trailers made for all 11 of her published and successful books. My question is, has anyone in this group invested in these trailers and did they seem to be helpful for your book sales?
