It’s 5:00 somewhere! What’s the plan for the weekend? Best joke or pet photo wins the thread. I'm off to see what pics I can find.

@Jason Schmitt, well, after you let the good times roll, I'm gonna need a nap! Have a blast. You two are looking sharp! The lion looks a little bored, but has a nice haircut.

@Andy White, yes, I fully understood it was a joke, that's why I liked it so fast. As Janna said, it sounds like many of us do that regularly.
Stupid Simple from The Famous - Never be Broke in under 30 min.?
In this video, _____ (He) , This is a Summary of 28 minutes of video that people will, like, applaud, rant about, and kiss the Goof-rus backside. (One even calls the "he" a father figure in the kiss-butt section, I mean, the comments! Tell me, after reading what I'll summarize, is it worth it? You define what "It" is. Is "it" time to watch this for nothing new? Is "it" worth it to grow a rabid following? "He" did. Start here with the summary: I put parentheses around my thoughts (they weren't in the video) "He" challenges traditional financial advice on saving by highlighting the impact of inflation on future purchasing power. (Really?) Key strategies for financial growth: - Increase Income (Shocking!) - Decrease Spending (so eye-opening, oh thank you. I've never heard any of this!) - Invest in Skills - acquiring skills. He shares how his personal investment in learning ads led to gazillions in profit. - Accelerate Learning - He advocates for "paying for speed". He also suggests engaging with communities and seeking feedback to accelerate skill acquisition. (Ok, my DWY is the Speed, so this is the subtle sale pitch. No, I'm not "the He" in this summary.) - Community Engagement - Give great content in other's communities. (Others, in the same company, tell you not to join other communities. Curious just how confusing they can make it so you have to pay them more to understand, maybe.) - Practical Resources- He points to various resources for skill acquisition. (Where would you point people? Obviously, to your stuff.) He concludes by emphasizing that while achieving financial freedom may take longer than expected, it can be significantly accelerated by learning skills that generate immediate income. He encourages viewers to embrace uncertainty and consistently invest in themselves. OK, My take: Challenge traditional advice? Tell me where in the above is traditional financial advice challenged. This post isn't complaining about the simplicity or the goof-ru's advice.

@Janna Skroch, when you say you don't know exactly how the process all works, what exactly does that mean? Getting affiliates to move product, not just sign up?

@Ahmy Brock, feedback and let it flow, is good mojo!
Tech and Tinkering Thursday
What’s one piece of 'modern' tech that actually made your life easier this week? (Or one you want to throw out the window?) For me, it was my phone. The actual phone won't connect when you need to make a call. Not the apps, not the text, not the GPS, or the Internet. I only needed to make a simple phone call. Well, I was in a sort of emergency situation: three dogs were running loose in the neighborhood, and I caught all of them, but holding them was extremely physically demanding. Luckily, I have a leash and looped it through two of the dog's collars. But these were strong, energetic dogs, and the third one was in my arms. I couldn't make a simple call to ask a neighbor. Bottom line, after 30 minutes, the dogs were back with the owners, but my phone, NOTHING! Scary, if my house were on fire, or I were in a crash, I couldn't make a call. What tales of Tech and Tinkering have you experienced?

@Larry Scarbeau whoa! That's causing me stress just thinking about that happening. Congratulations on getting to work.
The "Work-Shop" Wednesday Question, but Twisted
"What’s one skill you spent 30 years mastering that you’d love to teach someone else just for the fun of it?" Wait! Or maybe This! What one skill DIDN'T You Learn that you wished someone would teach you during The Encore stage of our lives? Answer either one or both. Have fun with it!

@Daisy Johnson, I taught kids ages 6 to 18 for 20 years as a martial arts teacher, and my top school was in one of the worst parts of town. Even at 25, I would have kids treating me like a parent figure. WE stayed and talked, waiting for the parents to pick them up or before class. Seemed like I was their only positive voice between parents fighting and teachers yelling at them. One of my toughest kids became a sheriff. Others found their way to colleges they couldn't afford, but I told them about some of the things I did to pay my way through. Today, it's even worse: parents are ignoring their kids and taking no responsibility. Consider looking up motivational speakers who speak in schools for ideas. Josh Shipp: Known as a "youth advocate," he uses humor and personal experience to help students overcome challenges and helps adults understand how to support them. His core message is that every kid is "one caring adult" away from being a success story. David Flood: Focuses on helping young people feel "seen, heard, and valued". He speaks to students about topics such as inclusion, respect, and dignity.

@Janna Skroch, Yeah, you may not know this, but I've been coaching (business coaching) for 20+ years, and 98% of my clients are women. The last group I worked with for three years, with about 1500 members total, was 99.9% women. I coached 2 men over 3 years, aside from the group's owner and employees.

I'm using GoAffPro affiliate marketing software inside my Shopify store. I understand how affiliate marketing works but haven't been too involved in it. I'm so impressed with the AI Sidekick in Shopify. By asking the right questions it's helped me set up GoAffPro inside Shopify, and helped me link to PayPal. It's incredibly fast and intuitive. After I'm finished with a task it tells me what I should work on next. Pretty smart.

Very Nice! I hope it helps you focus on and increase your affiliate activity, too.
