🎤 Welcome to the Stage! Grab a drink and introduce yourself.
Welcome to The Encore Society! You’ve just walked into the best "social club" on the internet for those of us who have a few miles on the odometer but aren't planning on parking the car anytime soon. This is a place for laughter, legendary stories, and exploring what’s possible in this next chapter. Whether you’re here to talk about your latest travel adventure, share a photo of your dogs, or quietly tinker with a new business idea that funds your lifestyle, you’re in the right place. To get the party started, drop a comment below and tell us: 1. Where are you joining us from? (I'm right here in sunny Las Vegas! 🎰) 2. What’s your current "Encore" passion? (Travel, a hobby, a new business project, or just perfecting the art of the afternoon nap?) 3. A "fun fact" or a quick joke. (We take our fun seriously here!) There’s no "corporate" dress code and no 9-to-5 pressure. Just good people, great conversation, and plenty of possibilities. Glad you’re here for the show!

The Encore Society Manifesto: Why We’re Here
Welcome to the best seat in the house! We (I) created The Encore Society because we believe your 50s, 60s, and beyond shouldn't be a "fading out"—they should be the headlining act. To keep the vibe right, here is our "Playbook" for how we hang out: 1. We Prioritize the "Social" in Social Media. This isn't a networking group; it’s a lifestyle club. We are here to talk about the things that actually matter: our latest travel treks, the hobbies that keep us sane, our families, and the pets that run our households. 2. Laughter is our North Star. If it’s not fun, we aren't doing it. Expect bad jokes, funny "business" ideas (like Vito’s Concrete Shoes), and a zero-pressure environment. If you’re stressed, you’re doing it wrong. 3. The "Hobbyist" Approach to Business. Many of us have a lifetime of wisdom we aren't ready to retire yet. We do talk about building small, fun projects or lifestyle businesses—but we treat them like a vintage car in the garage. We tinker, we enjoy the process, and we use the profits to fund our next vacation. 4. No Corporate Jargon Allowed. Leave the "synergy" and "KPIs" at the door. We speak human here. We’re just friends sharing what we know and enjoying the ride. The Goal: To build a community where you feel energized, connected, and inspired to make your "Encore" the most rewarding part of your story. Are you in? Drop a "YES" in the comments if you're ready to put the fun back into social! 👇

It's Happy Hour Somewhere- The Friday Theme
It’s 5:00 somewhere! What’s the plan for the weekend? Best joke or pet photo wins the thread. The photo, yes, we get snow in Vegas, but you have to go up to My Charleston to play. Aayla, the smaller black dog, wanted nothing to do with it. Siouxsie, whom we had rescued just a month before, loved it. Based on Kathy's facial expression, she must have been taking the photo and talking. Plans, Jokes, any fun photos to share, pet or not, share away.
