Raw Cougetti Bolognaise
Had a bunch of tomatoes to use up so made this last night, and it was very nice 🍅🍅🍅 Cup or so of tomatoes (I used smaller ones as find them sweeter) 1 x large Courgette Mixed Italian herbs (I used the ones in the photo and marinated the tomatoes in them for a few hours) Sliced mushrooms (had some mushrooms i'd marinated in garlic, salt and coconut aminos, so threw these of top) Fresh Basil Blend tomatoes into a sauce. Toss Courgette in the sauce Add mushrooms and Basil 😋

@Tamsyn Hartley I think there is a way to soften the kelp noodles, although I’ve never done it, with lemon juice? We love Dulse at my house. 🩵
Detox Salad with Lemon-Ginger Dressing
From Detoxinista.com Dressing 3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice 1 Tbsp. Mustard 2 Tbsp. Cold pressed olive oil 1 clove garlic pressed 1 inch fresh ginger, minced (I grated my ginger for this because I like the flavor without the texture, I may have been pretty liberal with the ginger) 1 Tbsp. honey 1/4 tsp. Himalayan salt and pepper Salad 2 cups finely diced broccoli 2 cups shredded red cabbage 1 cup shredded carrots 1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro 1/2 cups finely chopped parsley 2 green onions, chopped 1/2 cup sliced almonds (optional) In a large bowl, whisk together dressing ingredients. Add broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cilantro, parsley, and green onions. Stir together well. Let the flavors meld for 15 minutes or longer. Top with sliced almonds if using. *Made this today. The more I had the more I liked it. It is very light and refreshing, the dressing is subtle but tasty. 🩵💜🩵
Raw Food Cheese Recipe
I made this and it was delicious. I had never made raw cheese before. with recipes like this I could be raw forever, except everything takes soooo... long to make. This doesn't take long as long as you soak the cashews in advance! https://minimalistbaker.com/garlic-herb-vegan-cheese/

Oh, Minimalist baker is the best! I’ve been following her for years! Haven’t made the cheese though, gonna have to give it a look. 🩵🩵🩵
Raw Food Recipe Book
If anyone wants a really good raw food recipe book, I recommend this one: https://www.amazon.com/Am-Grateful-Recipes-Lifestyle-Gratitude/dp/1556436475 I used to go to the resteraunt now and then when I was in California and they take raw food to a new level. I just made the coconut curry soup and it's delicious. It also has the recipes for making raw toast, crackers, and bread using a dehydrator. I think I'll be staying on this diet, so I want to give it all a try.

I will look this up, Caryn. 🩵 I love to buy recipe books, it might even border on compulsion. 🤣

@Caryn Oresky Thank you for sharing. I have heard of Cafe Gratitude but never eaten at one. Sounds absolutely the best!?❤️
Cilantro Lime Sauce
1/4 cup lime juice 1/2 cup olive oil (as written, I only use 1 tablespoon oil and then the rest water, but I don’t like using a lot of oil) 1 clove garlic (I use 3, 🙂) 2 teaspoons maple syrup 1/2 tsp ground coriander 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 cups packed cilantro Blend well until cilantro is fully blended *As a side note, I made this Sauce as a salad dressing many years ago. At that time, I would have a side salad with mashed potatoes on the same plate. I discovered by accident that this sauce is great on mashed potatoes, makes green potatoes. 🤣 This is one of my favorite comfort foods that isn’t “too bad” for me. 😁
