AI Automation
I'm really interested in figuring out that AI automation. Even if we're not able to get the guy you were talking about @Austin Abeyta maybe we can figure out other ways to learn?

He is actually doing a podcast with him Friday and will upload it to the community
Introduction
Hello everyone, my name is Valentino. I recently turned 30 years old and I live in Miami, Florida. My current goal is to be able to save up at least 30k by the end of next year, land a secure, remote job, and be able to travel the world, starting in Southeast Asia, with the intention of one day settling down and living in Japan or Indonesia. I currently work from home, but I am limited to working only in the U.S. I would love to build rapport and a brotherhood with others in this community, as well as receive tips and advice on my goals.

Meetups?
I think one of the biggest issues with being a digital nomad that most people don't talk about is the loneliness you feel. That'swhy I thought, and I don't know if this is going to resonate with anybody, but maybe in the future we can have a section in this program and group to schedule short-term and long-term meetups. For example, if I wanted to move to Vietnam. I think it would be great to plan meetups with people if you are in that City, but what would be really nice is if several of us plan to move to the same city, we could have a little group or tribe. I don't know about the rest of you feel but that would make things so much easier for me and make me feel more at home and more confident in a move to a foreign place where I don't know anybody and have no resources or friends and don't know how anything works.

This is actually a nice idea because @Austin Abeyta always talked about how we need friends in each country we go to but we’re always too busy to go out and make some
Ranking Cities to work Remotely in South East Asia
I'm going to rank cities in Asia that i've spent time in taking into consideration, food, transport, internet access, co working, accommodation, cost of living. Let me know if you agree or disagree -Kuala Lumpur 8.7/10 (best cost of living ratio. Not as cheap as thailand but best value) -Bangkok 6/10 (Great night markets but not for me) -Jakarta 6.5/10 (A lot of people don't like it but i may be bias as i know people there) -Phuket 5/10 (Beaches aren't that great and it gets pretty wild there, too many distractions) -Langkawi 7/10 (If you're looking for an Island that's chill, a great spot) -Bali 7/10 (So Canguu and Ubud are polar opposites but overall you'll meet other entrepreneurs or remote workers so personally i like it for the networking. Has nice villas and waterfalls too) -Penang 5/10 (Penang isn't bad it's just you'll likely spend your time in Georgetown which has a cool vibe. I think it's a bit limiting and there are other places i'd rather spend my time) -Chiang Mai 9/10 (Doesn't have a beach but in the Chang Khlan area it's easy to build community. Great food and wifi was mostly reliable)

@Haris King where do you suggest we go in KL? We went on a food tour but it was mostly the markets and not necessarily some tourist spot.

Books that helped me
My first job was at a food stand. I was 16, still in high school, making $5 (not even) for a whole day of work. I just wanted my own money because asking my parents for stuff I don’t need was never an option for me. At 17, I worked at McDonald’s. From there, my “career” started spiraling up. When I got to college, I worked at a call center. Not because I had to but because I was too proud to let my parents pay for school. Then I met Austin. He told me about remote jobs and how it’s possible even without a degree. He was really passionate about it and that made me think and eventually left college and move back to my parents’ for a while. I started building skill after skill. From VA to video editor to makeup coach. I used to think I needed to become a lawyer (that’s my goal) to be “successful,” but honestly? I really love what I do now and I’m convinced that what makes someone successful. I never knew how to work remotely. I’d get overwhelmed and as Austin puts it, “get lost in the sauce.” These books helped me stay consistent, focus on what matters, and not give a fuck about things that don’t matter. I just figured I’d share this because I saw @Vanessa Castro post the book she’s currently reading and I remembered how much these two changed the way I work and show up for myself. I hope y’all are making progress and if not, our DMs are open for y’all!
