Any fasting 'rules?'
What are the fasting β€˜rules?’ Absence of food, including sugar, is a start! I love to pull Jesus’ leg, and of course, I know you cannot drink pop, soda, and any kind of beverage that contains sugar. Likewise, cinnamon rolls immediately bring you out of your fast. There are strict guidelines for anyone doing an extended or intermittent fast with us, and as mentioned in previous videos, there are a ton of benefits to fasting. Jesus experienced improved mental clarity, happier skin, and more on his latest extended fast. That said, what should you be eating when you END your fast? This is an important consideration because your body is looking for specific nourishment. In your opinion, what are the best foods to include on that first plate or bowl of goodness? Let us know in the comments.

@Mike Scotfield hi, I hope you are well. You know one difference from humans and another species is the digestive system. The humans don't need consume fiber, because any person consume fiber and that person goes to the bathroom and all the fiber comes out, the reason is that it does not provide any of what our body requires, before it was believed that it served to feed our microbiota, today we know that our microbiota can feed on fats and proteins without causing any imbalance in our digestion. I send you a big hug, bro!
Do you get pollen allergies?
Question for you? Do you get pollen allergies every spring? 🀧 What do your symptoms look like? Do you get blocked sinuses or itchy eyes? Or do you experience frequent sneezing or inflammation in the head (feeling sluggish) where you can’t focus well? Let us know too, whether you are taking pills, homeopathic remedies or something else to get through the pollen season, and what is working for you? Jesus and I have finally found something that works for me (I suffer every May~ late June, and have had allergies since I was a kid). It’s a relief to have something that works because we work right through the season, and prefer not to take time off. In this livestream, Jesus and I are sharing what sparked our interest in learning about health and sharing what we know. You can see the complete replay here. @Mike Scotfield what do you mean? Do you want to explain it, I'm a little confuse with this sentence!
Had no idea how to help
Have you ever been in a situation where a loved one has a really serious health issue and you have no idea how to help? Back in 2018, I received a call from my mum saying that she had thyroid cancer, and she was about to begin radiotherapy treatments prescribed by the doctor. I was living and working in S. Korea, and mama insisted that she was going to go through the treatments and there was nothing I could do to help. I was very alarmed and immediately connected with a friend who is a nutritionist to get her advice. I felt so helpless and didn’t have the slightest clue about what cancer actually is, or what causes it, and how to help support someone going through these treatments. I knew nothing about the thyroid gland, either. I knew there were alternatives to conventional medicine, but I didn’t know enough about them to give any real suggestions. Perhaps you have been through a similar experience too. After the radiotherapy treatments, my mother recovered well, and I felt very relieved, but the situation really impressed on me just how fragile we can be, and that taking care of our health doesn’t just impact us, but it affects all of the people we love and care for us too. Let me know in the comments which events helped you show an interest in holistic health. I'm curious.

That kind of news is very uncomfortable, because we ourselves have no idea to solve, but now we have more tools to support ourselves and others who want to help themselves! πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ

Is nutrition critical for people who are very sick?
In your opinion, is nutrition critical for people dealing with severe health challenges? Jesus tells the story here about his uncle who was being treated for bowel cancer with chemo, and that, as a nutritionist, there was a lot more his uncle needed. At minimum, Jesus’ uncle needed to be supplementing with vitamin C, and in this case, the medical doctor administering the treatments was unfamiliar with basic nutrition. The topic on where to go for help when we receive a chronic disease diagnosis can be scary, and many people immediately rely on conventional medicine (John Rockefeller 1900/ western pharmaceutical- synthetic medicine from petroleum/ chemical base) to cure. However, there are many methods to bring our body back into balance when it alerts us that what we’re doing just isn’t working, and that our habits are messing up our health. Other than nutritional supplements, which methods do you look to when it comes to supporting your health, and the health of those you love? Let us know in the comments.
