Goodbye old life, hello new one!
Have you noticed that when you open up to new things, your options change? 🧐 Let’s consider relationships. If you choose a partner, then that choice leaves you with little margin to choose another relationship. If you’re single, the story changes completely. To open a new door, another usually needs to close, and that rule is universal. Letting go of something old, something which you want to move on from, can be really difficult. This has happened to me with jobs too, which at the time, I wanted to hold on to, because even though there were things I didn’t agree with and caused me anxiety, at least it was familiar. I was scared of the unknown, even though I knew that a new job could be better. Have you seen this in experiences you’ve had? Let us know in the comments. Link to complete conversation below. Tasha~

Paralysed by FEAR?
Have you ever wanted to walk away from a job, but stayed because you were fearful of the financial repercussions? Jesus and I chat here about my former job where after receiving multiple pay rises, I felt reluctant to leave. The financial security felt good, but I didn’t agree with decisions I was expected to support, and felt lots of internal conflict. The decision of whether to stay or go, whether to keep quiet and deal with it, or take action and leave that environment, can be really scary. Personally, if I don’t flex that ‘muscle’ of taking action when needed, I forget how capable I am of standing up for what I believe in. Have you ever been in a similar situation? Let us know in the comments below. Tasha~

Thirties VS Forties
It was kinda strange hitting my forties. In my thirties, I was obsessed with new experiences and traveling, and meeting interesting people. I loved socializing, and wanted to feel like I belonged someplace. I also wanted to understand who I was, and what I wanted. What exactly my purpose is. Then, just before I hit my forties, I started feeling very tired and began to focus on how to conserve energy. I began noticing my face change as my skin became looser, and gradually, my interest in mindset and figuring out who I am and what I want began to pivot. I started learning about food and diets, cellular health, cold plunges, and breathing techniques. My immediate ‘emergency’ became, how to get back the energy I had only a short time ago. After all, how could I enjoy all these new experiences if I felt like sh*t? Continued in the comments below.
