THE LAST MILE IS ALWAYS THE HARDEST
THE LAST MILE IS ALWAYS THE HARDEST On Day 1, I told you I purposely let myself go. Bulked up. Soft around the middle. All by design. Why? To prove it could be done. To show you that transformation is possible—even in real time. The first 40 days were smooth. Then life hit: Vacation. No real gym for 10 days. Closest one? 40 minutes away. Push-ups and bodyweight circuits just ain’t the same when your body’s used to moving 315 for reps. Let’s stop pretending they are. But you know what? Something is always better than nothing. Even if progress stalls. Now here’s the truth most won’t tell you: If you’ve ever weighed close to 300 lbs, your lower belly is gonna be the last thing to go. That’s the fat your body clings to like a lifeline. And that’s exactly where most people quit. They don’t quit because it’s hard. They quit because they THINK it’s not working. Because the belly is still there. Even when everything else has changed. But look closer: 👉 Face? Slimmer. 👉 Arms? Leaner. 👉 Legs? Tighter. 👉 Chest? Defining. Fat doesn’t come off where you want it. It comes off where your body decides it will. You can’t spot reduce—but you can stay consistent. You can fall in love with the process. You can play the long game. I’m still on track to show you visible abs in 90 days. Still proving the point: This can be done. Even if you’re 40. Even if you’re busy. Even if you’ve been broken. If you’ve got questions—whether you’re just joining or been here the whole time—drop them in the comments. I’ll hit every single one. Let’s finish this together. Head down. Horns up. #FitOver40 #CoreFour #DadBodToGreekGod #FatLossTruth #BlueCollarFitness #TransformationJourney #BuiltNotBought #TheHerd #Soldierfit #DannyFarrar #FitFreeAmerica Fit. Free. America. It’s the eating for me. I literally have been unable to eat more than 1 meal a day with maybe 2 snacks that’s fruit. I’m mostly vegan. And sometimes eat seafood. I don’t get hungry until like 2pm and I’m use to having a big salad and that’s the meal for the day. Sometimes if I get hungry before that, I eat fruit. I don’t like powders. But I’m finding that with all the working out at boot camp I’m feeling weak sometimes. And it’s discouraging. I want & need strength, toning and of course weight loss. HELP PLEASE!

@Danny Farrar I’ll try nuts. I don’t eat meat or dairy products. I’m eating tuna with avocado and seaweed right now. I’m hoping this helps.
Protein
If I don’t meet the required protein target, will I still lose weight and gain muscle??

Honor your word
11-hour drive to Maine with the family today. Vacation’s on. But the mission don’t stop. Woke up at 5AM. Laced up. Banged out 30 minutes of fasted steady-state cardio. Kids were still asleep. And I’m doing what I said I was gonna do. Because that’s what men do. We lead. We provide. And we keep our word, not just to everyone else but ourselves. Day 38. Top abs are starting to pop again. By Day 60-70, I’ll have the full six back. Not because I’m special. But because I made a decision: Do what I said I was gonna do. You can get there too— if you stop negotiating with your excuses and start keeping your promises. It’s not easy. It’s earned. No matter where you are—home, work, or vacation— you either honor your word or you don’t. Now go get some. #HeadDownHornsUp #FitFreeAmerica #CoreFourDiscipline #FamilyAndFitness #MenLeadFromTheFront #MiddleAgeMuscle #NoExcuses #AbsAfter30 #BlueCollarBuilt #VacationNotExcuse #TheHerdMindset #KeepYourWord Fit. Even though I’m not a man, I loved this. It spoke to my soul.
