5 Reasons I Use Publisher Rocket
I work in SEO professionally, so I know how important solid research is. When it comes to researching keywords, categories, and competitors for books, Publisher Rocket continues to be my preferred tool. Here are five reasons why: 𝟭. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆. Compared with some other research tools on the market, Publisher Rocket is fairly easy to understand and adapt to. You don’t need to be an SEO expert to start finding useful information. 𝟮. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. I purchased Publisher Rocket almost five years ago, and I’m still using that same tool today. I use it whenever I need to conduct keyword research for my own books or help members of this community research theirs. 𝟯. 𝗜𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗡 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀. If you have the ASIN of a competing book, you can see which keywords may be helping that book get discovered. This can give you ideas for relevant keywords to research for your listing or Amazon Ads campaigns. 𝟰. 𝗜𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗲𝗿. Publisher Rocket allows me to quickly compare competing books and review information such as rankings, estimated sales, pricing, keywords, and categories. Instead of bouncing between dozens of Amazon listings, I can analyze the market in one place. 𝟱. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁. For those of us who don’t adapt well to major interface changes, Publisher Rocket has remained refreshingly familiar during the almost five years I’ve owned it. Features don’t constantly move around, and I don’t suddenly have to hunt for something that used to be in a familiar spot. The bottom line is that research matters. Publisher Rocket currently costs $199 as a one-time purchase, but in my opinion, that beats paying $50 or more every month for a competing tool with a steeper learning curve. If you’re interested in trying Publisher Rocket, I’ll drop my referral link below. Have you used it before, or are you still doing most of your book research manually? 👉 GET PUBLISHER ROCKET

The Invisible Pen: AI as a Writing Partner for Romance Authors
Share Anything Friday — for the romance writers in here. I run The Invisible Pen, a Skool community built for romance fiction authors who want to use AI as a writing partner, not as a ghostwriter that takes the wheel. Okay, listen. We train the process: voice files, drafting without polishing yourself into a stall, editing passes that keep your fingerprints, covers, newsletters, launches, live clinics, and a lot of practical tools you can actually run on your books this week. The fun part is the community — people who are shipping romance and helping each other stay in creative control. If you write romance and you want AI that collaborates with your taste instead of flattening it, come hang out: https://www.skool.com/the-invisible-pen There is a 7-day free look, then it is $25/month. What are you writing this week? 🦋

Share Anything Friday 🎉
Share whatever you’re working on or proud of right now. This community is full of creators, authors, and entrepreneurs, and sometimes the best thing we can do is help each other get a little more visibility. 💡 𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗦 𝗢𝗡 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗟𝗗 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗘: • Yourself and what you do • Your Skool community • A book you're writing or recently published • A project you're building • A shoutout to another member • A video, post, or resource • Affiliate links (yes, those are allowed) The goal is simple: help our members get seen. Just one request so this stays valuable for everyone. 👉 𝟭 𝗥𝗨𝗟𝗘: If you share something, please also leave a thoughtful or helpful comment on someone else’s post. Support goes both ways, and when we all participate, the whole community benefits. Now let’s see what everyone is building 👇

@Kimberly Armatys I can't believe it's been 25 years. Seems like it wasn't that long ago - I was teaching that day. The kids were so scared.

@Karen Freeman-Smith That's a great concept. There are so many different ways to use AI Tools in the writing process.
Don’t Rush Through the KDP Backend 👀
When you finally get to the point where you're uploading your book to Amazon, it can be really tempting to rush through the backend just so you can get to that Publish button. But those little boxes matter more than they look. This is where you're telling Amazon important information about your book, including: • Your keywords • Your categories • Your book description • Your pricing • Your author and publishing details These aren't just random fields Amazon makes you fill out. They can affect how your book is positioned, how Amazon understands what your book is about, and how easily the right readers can find it. Your keywords should be intentional. Your categories should make sense for the book you're publishing. Your description needs to help turn someone browsing into someone interested in buying. And even your pricing should be thought through instead of picking a number because it “looks about right.” One of the biggest mistakes I see new authors make is spending weeks or months creating the book... and then rushing through the final publishing setup in 15 minutes. Don't treat the KDP backend like paperwork you just need to get through. It's part of publishing your book properly. And if you're getting to this stage and thinking, “Okay... but what am I actually supposed to put in all of these fields?” — that's exactly the kind of thing I help Premium members work through. Inside Premium, you get the step-by-step publishing walkthroughs plus support when you get stuck, so you aren't trying to figure out every part of KDP alone. ❤️
