The first 10 minutes of your morning matter more than you think.
Most of us wake up and immediately reach for our phone. Before we’ve had a single thought of our own, we’ve already absorbed a dozen other people’s energy, opinions, and urgency. And then we wonder why we feel overwhelmed before the day even begins. There’s a different way to start. “In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” — Psalm 5:3 Just 10 minutes. Before the noise. Before the news. Before the world tells you what to think and feel. Stillness. Breath. Prayer. Gratitude. A quiet moment to ask — what does my body and soul need today? You cannot transform what you’re not yet aware of. And awareness begins in the quiet. Transformation doesn’t always start with a big change. Sometimes it starts with 10 intentional minutes — and choosing yourself before you choose your screen. You are worthy of that stillness. Every single morning. 🙏

Bea - this is amazing! I need to try and start my day without grabbing my phone. I want to know what plans are on my work calendar, personal calendar right away. I have come to the realization that it doesn't matter what my calendar says right away, what matters is starting my day with a glass of warm water, gratitude, and prayer.
